Good teaser!! I only got the separation part...
I only got the separation, and then I read the answer........ and counted how many pieces the word was broken into...... I thought it was "separation of temperature(but I don't think there is such a thing).
Had no clue until the hint totally gave it away...
I got the separation part first, but I've never actually heard that phrase before.
