Series teasers are where you try to complete the sequence of a series of letters, numbers or objects.Series
Find the 37th, 81st and 223rd terms in this sequence.
8, 15, 22, 29, 36.......
8, 15, 22, 29, 36.......
Answer
37th - 26081st - 568
223rd - 1562
In the sequence, there is a common difference of 7. (8+7=15, 15+7=22 etc.) So, this means that you must multiply the term number by 7.
37X7=259
81X7=567
223X7=1561
If we look back at the original sequence, 1X7=7, but we want 8. 2X7=14, but we want 15. So you must add 1 on to give you the final numbers.

Yay I am first ! And this was fun!
I worked it out as follows -
8 + (7 x (n-1)) = nth number in the sequence
Thus, the 37th number would be -
8+ (7 X 36) = 260
The 81st number would be -
8 + (7 X 80) = 568
And the 223rd number would be -
8 + (7 X 222) = 1562

May be not as simple as 1,2,3, but it's close to that
Simple, but fun.
