Brain Teasers
King, Martyr or Just a Dreamer?
Some people have considered me a protester and troublemaker.
Others have considered me a speaker and peacemaker.
All I knew was that there were wrongs I could not abide.
So, protester, speaker, peacemaker or martyr; you decide.
My religious background and education caused my belief in nonviolent protest.
I tried to right wrongs and got involved in Civil rights, which caused my arrest.
Many times, my speeches put me in a bad situation.
In theses speeches, I spoke out against racial segregation.
I led marches for the right to vote, desegregation, labor and civil rights, which is documented fact.
Most of these rights were successfully enacted with the passage of the Civil and Voting Rights Act.
I was the youngest man to have received the Nobel Peace Prize.
Then I turned over the money to the civil rights movement, which raised many eyes.
While standing on the balcony, on a speech I meditated.
Before I could lead the next day's protest, I was assassinated.
Now is the time to end my little game.
Do you know who I am, and can you say my name?
