Answer
The number of seconds in a week is larger. There are 604,800 seconds in a week, and 525,600 minutes in a calendar year.
Note: There are 525,960 minutes in a leap year, which is still less than the number of seconds in a week.

That was easy but fun.
Good teaser. I hope to see more.
all i got to say it;s great and hard it's a a-!
Easier solution: seconds/week = minutes/week * 60 = minutes/year * 60 / 52. Since 52 < 60, seconds/week > minutes/year.
Yeh, you don't really need to do any calculations, you can just show it in a couple of lines.
Let Y and W, be number of seconds in a Year and in a Week.
Then # mins in Year=Y/60=52W/60

Thank you. Just go ahead and correct my teaser in a way that you think is good.
u really shouldnt put the answer in the title
I figured the whole point of the teaser was to realize that you didn't need to do any calculations to determine the answer since the number of seconds in a minute is greater than the number of weeks in a year.
Without leveraging that, where's the teaser in the math problem?

I don't get your 'leap year' calculation...
