It was a crazy day at All Seas Shipping. The IT Helpdesk was working overtime to sort out problems that were coming at them from all directions! Mona was just about ready to unplug the computer to just make them stop for a while, when the computer decided to crash!
Mona was frantic now! The last 5 things on her priority list was all she remembered, and that too, in bits and pieces. Can you help her put the information together so she can save the day yet again?
Users: Faith, Cindy, George, Reginald, Bill
Problems: Crash, General Failure, Floppy Stuck, Backup System, RAM failure
Location: Ship, Head Office, Branch Office, Port Office, Overseas Office
Time when complaint was logged: 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00
1. None of the users had a request starting with the same letter as their first name.
2. The five users are: the one with the floppy stuck, the one on the ship, the one who logged the request at 10:30, the one in the overseas office and George.
3. Faith was very conscientious about her work and always logged support requests for backup before any major meeting. Mona remembered getting an overseas call from Faith at 11:00 for this purpose.
4. Bill was enjoying Cindy's embarrassment as she related to him over the phone how she reversed the direction of the floppy and now it would not come out of the drive! His laughter and glee were shortlived however. Half an hour after he spoke to Cindy, his PC crashed, and he logged in a request immediately using the phone.
5. The order of time in which the first two support requests were logged was the one in the head office and the one with the computer crash.
6. Bill was the Branch Supervisor and George was the Port Supervisor.
7. The call from the Port Office was the last call Mona recalled.
