I'm guessing that if you watched the movie then you might have a chance...
Yes you do!
This one was nice but the hint made it more confusing to me.
But if I seen the movie the hint would have helped allot.

fun and easy. good job!
Generally these letter equation teasers should be well known phrases and/or facts. I don't think a US movie that a fraction of people have seen should qualify. No offense.
Gross Numbers For CbtD 1
$138,614,544 (USA)
£6,907,690 (UK)
€507,538 (Italy)
€230,918 (Netherlands)
€4,349,898 (Spain)
+ others = $190,212,113 (Worldwide)
These numbers are just for cinemas, they don't include the numbers for rentals, purchases, etc.
I think it's safe to say that more than a handful of people, in more that just the US, have seen these films and could puzzle out the answer.
But I will admit... the book was better.

How the hint helps is beyond me ??
Don't like this, as there will be very few of the people who have seen this movie who have got any clue as to the name of the family let alone all the kids.
And as for the wonderful stat on monies recieved at the cinema. A huge proportion of this is likely to be 10 and under which is the target audience for this film, and these are even less likely to remember any of the names !!!

As to your concern about the hint:
The title is a hint in itself, as it includes the name of the family. Within the actual hint, all the letters are capitalized, which indicates proper nouns, they are the first letter of each of the children's names.
As to the majority of sales going to children under the age of ten:
1-The movie is rated PG which suggests that it is not geared towards young children.
2-Even if it were geared toward young children, parents aren't likely to just dump them off and leave them to have God knows what happen to them... or at least no decent parent would.
I looked at your recent teaser comments, you don't seem to like anyone's work, so I'm not too worried about your opinion on mine. It was a nice movie [a wonderful book] and those who enjoyed it will possibly enjoy this teaser.
As to accuracy, perhaps you should check your own teasers before you begin harassing others.

Please elaborate on which of my teasers you think are innaccurate !
Also did I mention anything about parents leaving their kids alone? NO
#11645, but it's fixed now.
Sorry to see you don't like my teaser. It looks like a teaser about a silly movie can be just as boggling as one about the GNP of countries... interesting. *SMILE* The World Is Watching!

I got all the letters except F!
Loved it!
one word (coo)
If you liked the book better than the movie, you might prefer the ORIGINAL movie, 1950, which used the same (nonfictional) names as the book. Also there are other books about the Gilbreth family, e.g. "Belles on Their Toes".
