Something looks wrong. You have rite and rine as the firat words and tear and near as the third words. This is not my understanding of a wored square.

Yep. I made a mistake when submitting it, so I submitted a correction.
I don't get it... How does RITE, IDEA, TEAR, EARS form a word square... I see the relationship from TEAR -> EARS (drop T, add S), but how does RITE become IDEA, or IDEA become TEAR?

A word square reads the same from left to right and top to bottom. Except for that, the words are independent of each other.
