At homes, if you look around,
I am found.
To stains,
I am a pain.
With my aid
you can make boo-boos fade.
I begin to fold
when only six months old.
What am I?
I am found.
To stains,
I am a pain.
With my aid
you can make boo-boos fade.
I begin to fold
when only six months old.
What am I?

Didn't know the six-months bit - better check some labels! Good teaser!
The first lines were very clearly Hydrogen Peroxide, but I wavered after reading the last bit:
I begin to fold
when only six months old.
Does that mean it expires after just 6 months? I just checked my bottle and it doesn't expire for another year and a half. (Nov 2007) ???

I originally got this idea from an article in Parents magazine. They were discussing stain removal and H2O2 was a good one for a number of stains. Then they added the tidbit about fading. It says that ONCE OPENED a bottle begins to lose its potency after only six months. I think that means that the expiration date on bottles is based on unopened storage. I just think of soda, once you open it, it starts losing it's bubbles pretty quick right?
The first time I sent this through I included a note about all that, and referred folks to parents.com to verify or for more info, but they made me take it out because you can't put websites in a teaser... but you can put it in the comments!
Thanks so much for taking a peek!
