Brain Teasers
You're the Nanny!
Logic-Grid
Logic Grid puzzles come with a handy interactive grid that will help you solve the puzzle based on the given clues.Logic-Grid
You have recently taken on the job of being the nanny for a pair- excuse me, a group- of quints! When you arrived at the job, the babies' parents gave you a piece of paper which told you the colors of the pacifiers of each baby and their crib number. (All the babies have to sleep in their own cribs because that's where their favorite stuffed animals are! Oh, and if you're wondering why they need their pacifiers, try getting a cute little baby to be quiet and sleep without one.)
However, as you prepared to tuck the babies in for their naps, you found that you misplaced the list! Using the information that you remember, find out what color pacifier each baby has and which crib he/she sleeps in. Good luck! (You're going to need it...)
Baby names: Bea, Mae, Rae, Lee, Zoe
Pacifier colors: sienna, crimson, lime, hot pink, teal
Crib numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
1. Bea ate dinner (some Gerber apple sauce) with Lee, the baby from crib 3, the baby with the crimson pacifier and the baby with the lime one.
2. Zoe's crib number is lower than the baby with a lime pacifier, but higher than Rae's.
3. Rae's crib number isn't 1.
4. Bea's crib number is higher than Zoe's.
5. The baby with a hot pink pacifier has a higher crib number than that of the baby with a sienna pacifier, but has a lower crib number than Mae, whose crib number isn't five. (One of the few things harder than deciphering that is changing a baby's diaper!)

Very cute! Defintely love this one... Thanks for the infinities of smiles...
No problem for a color blind, hearing impaired, non-English speaking nanny, like many kids must have. It is a good, well-written teaser.
I had to start this simple little thing 4 times! I guess that means that I am the simple one At least I can get my apple sauce by myself! Very enjoyable!
Very well done. Loved your hint! Thanks for the teaser.
Yeah! My first logic grid!
Thanks for the positive feedback!

A truly excellent teaser. Looks easy at first glance... The clues give just enough information, but really make you work through the grid. One of the best logic-grid teasers I have done!!! I tip my hat to you!
Very easy, but I usually stick to the highest difficulty, I am now going to the newest posts so I guess I should expect easier puzzles.
Great teaser! Tougher than in looks with a mere 5 clues. I had to rewrite it to solve. Loved it!

Why is corn starch and baby powder helpful when changing a diaper?
Oh, it's just a joke. (It prevents diaper rash... i think)

Great teaser! I love the grid ones. This one was perfectly challenging because it never came right out and said anything, itgave you just enough information and no more or less than was needed. This was perfect. Can't wait to see more of yours!
Great teaser. I think you can drop clue number 4

I did it! I loved it. Especially your not-hint. >_<
I ended up not needing one though. Boy, I'm smart. Can't stop patting my own back. Make another!

Loved it!!!!!!!!! I thought it would be easy but it wasn't. I love logic-grid puzzles but I can't stand ones that are so uninteresting so you can't focus. You did a great job of making it not to easy and not to hard but still interesting and loads of fun.
Very easy but VERY cute!
Ahh, it was pretty difficult, had trouble figuring it out. Then it all hit me.
Great teaser!
Great teaser!
WOW! Not as easy as it looks at first glance. Thought it would take me 30 seconds. More like 3 minutes and 30 seconds!
