vague, have, shrugged, raged, boat, sole, dragged, snaked, twinged
Hint
They are all one syllable words, but that is only half the answer.These words also fit the pattern: cave, boar, role.
Answer
By removing one or two letters, each one syllable word becomes a word that can be pronounced with two syllables.Vague -> ague
Have -> ave
SHrugged -> rugged
Raged -> aged
boaT -> boa
Sole -> ole
Dragged -> ragged

hmmm..i came up with a different pattern.I think it went a,a,e,a,o,o,a,a,e,
It had to do with the letters that were differnt like there was no o in the ones that were a and there was not a in the ones that were o and the ones that were e didn't have a or o but they both did have an e..it is confusing..but it was a pattern
GOOD JOB
