it was an okay teaser, i am going o major in math next year at oxford, and i got it in about 5 seconds.
simple. just list all of the numbers (13,24,35,46,57,68,79,97,86,75,64,53,42,31) and see which is the highest one divisible by 3.
Wow, that's too much work for me! I just started from the top and went down till I had it. Only had to do three that way!

I thought it just had to be two digits and divisible by 3 so I thought it was 96 I should read more carefully!
All numbers are divisible by 3. You might not get an integer, but they can be divided by 3.
