Alright dude could be better but good
its ok
i didnt get that?!
i didnt get it
Seems to me like a better response would be Sport Fishing, thus including the first two lines!
just didn't make sense. I kept thinking of "Fish, or cut bait."
It there was only the last line, it makes perfect sense to me, but I feel like the first two lines kind of threw me off. So, I was confused. I like it tho!!!
will someone please explain this to me?
OK. This seems to be suffering from a lack of familiarity of the term "Fishing rod". I suspect that some Americans are used to calling it a fishing pole although that is usually a simple device whereas a fishing rod has a reel attached.

I have checkec and the term "fishing rod" is certainly used at least in some commercial applications in America.

That's not it at all! People know what fishing rods are, and recognize the term, it's just that the rebus is not well structured to indicate such an answer.
This one was a little too easy
Sorry, I didn't really like it that much

Huh??? You use a fishing rod to fish but I still don't get it.
I don't understand Rebus tEASERs. Can someone explain? But I bet this is a great teaser ne way. =))
still confused...............
So RODney is catching FISH
reverse them and you get fishing rod
My problem is that i didn't get where the first two lines come in
After reading the rest of the comments I'm not thinking that they do.

Good one, I didn't get it though. I don't see how this first 2 lines have anything to do with the riddle though...
I got it right away. Yay me!

hrmmmm. id say the object being portrayed here is SPEECH because i believe the kid was TALKING about going FISHING there was nothing indicating a fishing rod. for all i know, he could be going to a gutter at the park trying to catch tadpoles, cuz thats what I used to do when i was a kid. i had a freakin CUP. so he could be talking about a CUP! i drink out of cups. so there.
We know what a fishing rod is, we just don't see what the first two lines have to do with it. Rebus puzzles typically don't ever include extraneous information.
It says
It won't let me type the chevron characters. Anyway it says to decipher the THIRD LINE. Why are you saying that the first two lines are useless. They are there to compare to the actual phrase which is the third line. Read the instructions!
Oooo. Clever. Loved it. Thanks for posting.
I keep re-reading the comments to try and figure what the problem with this teaser is. Maybe I should have explained the answer.
The last line is the one to decipher and Rodney (Rod for short) is going fishing so he is a fishing Rod, not a tennis Billy or a golfing Horry, but a fishing Rod!
