after reading the first clue, i thought, "on a really big calendar???" =)
same here
very hard. i was thinking of only the time zones.
Pitifully easy.
Drunky and AlterEgo have different ideas.....
Or: Immediately south of the equator and west of a time zone
boundary, facing south, between 11PM and midnight, Sat. July 1, local time.

Dewtell, not facing south. But at any place there is a time zone change at the equator. Remember July is summer in the northern hemisphere, so you have to be facing north to go forwards and have summer.
Oops - you're right about the summer/winter
part, so you need to be facing north. But
in that case, you need to be at the International
Date Line for the left/right stuff to work.
So it looks like the original answer is unique after all.

That's a really good one!
isnt the deadline misshapen (not a straight line)?
Yeah, the dateline probably isn't straight, but it still intersects with the equator somewhere.
Great teaser. Too easy, though.
