There is a number less than 3000 that when divided by 2 leaves a remainder of 1, when divided by 3 leaves a remainder of 2, when divided by 4 leaves a remainder of 3, When divided by 5 leaves a remainder of 4, when divided by 6 leaves a remainder of 5, and so on up to nine. What is that number?

whats a remander? is it like a remainder?
The way to solve this is to notice that by adding one to the number, it will be divisible by 1 through 9. So take the LCM of 1,2,3...9 which is 2520 and subtract 1.
anything less than 3000 is kind of a BIG range. dontcha think?
