I thought it was feedbag because it was the word that started with the next letter of the alphabet (A, B, C, D, E, Feedbag; even though they were all jumbled up)

well duh, that took about 15 seconds. But then I'm a piano player.
I thought it was Ended because it could have been two letters that were shown twice.
That couldn't have been the rule smart one because 'deaf' doesn't fit that in the main group. Oh and madaxemen, there is also no rule that could have led to your answer because there is no pattern to it. Thanks for stopping by my teaser though ;P
dsquared, mad axeman said that it would the words would be ALL JUMBLED UP in parenthesis. he meant that even though it would not be in a pattern, if you switch around the words, it will form in ABC order. just wanted 2 clear that up. gr8 teaser!
Yeah, I guess you could argue that there is some kind of random pattern that kinda exists on some mental plane somewhere. I did realise mad axe mentioned the jumbledness but to me that destroyed any presence of a pattern therefore making it invalid. Oh, and thx
That's how I got it too. Same with my dog.
i don't know about you, dsquared, but last time i looked at my piano , D-E-A-F were all on there...
Lol speedy. I think I get what you mean by that but you may have misunderstood what humor meant. I believe that humor was saying that it was easy because they played piano whereas the 'but' in humor's comment makes it sound otherwise. Yes D-E-A-F are all there. Humor was simply saying that they found it easy because of their previous knowledge in being a pianist. Thanks all the same for coming to my defense though ;P .

There's another reason to choose 'feedbag'! All the words are typed on a qwerty typewriter using only the left hand. Without the hint, that was how I had originally solved it.

Great stuff King, I'm not sure which answer I like better now! ;P Thanks for mentioning that and sorry that this teaser has two answers ;( . Oh well, I wonder how many others will spot that? D^2
I spotted the left hand thing after much thought, but only because I just read another teaser that had something of that sort. I like your musical answer better, though. I doubt that I ever would have solved it.
Quite clever, stumped me completely. Keep up the good job!
Thanks
Stumped me also. I had no clue.
