Nice construction. Personally, I'd like it a little harder (reword the last line so "know" isn't literally in the text), but I'll take it. Nice job!
Thanks Norce, yeah, probably could have done better on that front though it is a homonym as opposed to the exact word however could be concealed better. I think this was in my earlier days of teaseritis . Not to say that all the recent ones are gems of course just there is a higher likelihood of writing a good one.

Too hard for me. I would think that a cigarette butt is the burnt end thrown away whether it had a filter or not and I would not think of a fresh unlit cigarette as having a butt so I can't make that connection.
Fair enough, you're not saying one actually stumped you are you? Oh no, you're not, you're just saying it was poorly constructed and that's what stumped you... oh well... close, but no ...
