I Doubt It
A bluffing game where people take turns playing cards from their hand face down according to some rule. Other players can call their bluff, but at a risk.

This is a bluffing game where people take turns playing cards from their hand face down onto the table according to some rule and declaring what was played. You do not need to tell the truth. If another player thinks that the rule has been broken, they can say "I doubt it" and turn over the cards to check. Whoever was wrong, must take all the cards on the table. The goal of the game is to get rid of all your cards.
Setup
Use a standard 52 card deck that is shuffled and dealt as evenly as possible to all the players. If playing with more than 5 players, use two decks of cards shuffled together. Players can look at their hands and organize their cards. In this game, the suits don't matter, only the ranks.
Gameplay
The player to the left of the dealer goes first and plays some number of cards face down into the center and declares them to be Aces. The next player must then do the same, but with twos, the next player with threes and so on with increasing card ranks, wrapping around from kings back to aces again.
You do not need to tell the truth and you can pass if you don't want to play any cards. If you pass, the rank does not increase for the next player.
After someone finishes their turn, but before the next player plays their cards, anyone may place their hand on the cards in the center and say "I doubt it" to make a challenge. Those cards are then turned face up for inspection. If the player was bluffing, they must take all the cards on the table and add them to their hand, as punishment for getting caught. If the player was telling the truth then the challenger must take the entire stack of cards for making a false accusation. Whoever wins the challenge (ie. doesn't take the cards) plays the next hand, continuing with the next rank in the sequence.
For example, the first player places two cards down, and say, "Two Aces". The next player says "Pass" without placing any cards. The third player places a single card down and say, "One Two". Now, the second player secretly had three twos that they didn't play so they decide to challenge and say "I doubt it". The previously played card is turned face up and is discovered to be a queen, so they were bluffing. That player must take all 3 cards on the table into their hand. Play continues with the second player.
The winner is the person who runs out of cards first. The remaining players can continue to play for second place.
