Hell's Attack

There are five monsters: A demon, a dragon, a gargoyle, a satyr, and a ghoul.

There were five victims: John, Michael, Samuel, Paul, and George.

There were five methods of death: hellfire, spikes, hanged, eaten, and beaten.


Clues:

(1) George was not beaten.
(2) The person that was burned to death by the hellfire was killed by the dragon.
(3) Sam was killed by the ghoul.
(4) Satyrs are known to beat their victims (and they enjoy it)
(5) Neither John nor George were killed by the spikes.
(6) Paul was eaten, but not by a gargoyle.
(7) The gargoyle threw his victim in the spike pits.
(8) John was not hanged.
