Mrs. Willis teaches pre-kindergarten at Happy Child Day Care. When she went to wake the class after nap-time, she discovered that one of the children had not been asleep after all. Little Damian had been a very busy, very bad boy. Before nap-time, each child had put their shoes and snacks at the foot of their mat. Damian had quietly switched everyone's things. He had, of course, left his things alone. Help Mrs. Willis to sort out this mess. Here is what she remembers:
First Names: Dianne, Shaun, Craig, and Kelly
Middle Names: Marian, Anne, Robert, and Edward
Shoe Colors: Red, Blue, Black, Green
Snacks: Apple, Pudding, Brownie, and Banana
1. The children are Dianne, the child with the banana, the child with the red shoes, and the boy with the pudding.
2. The boy who had an apple liked things to match, and so wore sneakers the same color as his snack.
3. As you would expect, the two boys' middle names are Robert and Edward.
4. Kelly never ate her snack; she always traded at snack time - unlike the girl whose middle name is Marian.
5. Craig Robert loves the black shoes he just got yesterday, but Dianne wants new ones, since her favorite color changed to blue.
