Positive Notes On the Warm Coats

On a coffee break one day this past winter, four good friends decided that each would donate his extra coat to the local charity organization's "Give One Warm Coat" drive. Who gave what? See clues below.

Coat types: trench coat, duffle, parka, pea coat
Sizes: small, medium, large, extra large
Ages of coats: 2, 3, 4, 5 years
Conditions of wear: fair, good, very good, excellent

Clues:

1.The extra large coat was in better condition than the trench coat, and the small size coat was in good condition.

2. Robert's medium size coat was given to him new, but he never wore it; it was, therefore, in excellent condition, even though it was twice as old as the parka.

3. Charles' parka was in very good condition.

4. Donald's coat was smaller than Roy's pea coat, which was in fair condition after five years of hard navy use.
