Brain Teasers
Dominoes
Two diagonally opposite corner squares are removed from a chess board (in other words, the upper left-most square and the lower right-most square are cut out).
Can the board still be completely covered by dominoes that measure 2 squares by 1 square (each domino covers two adjacent squares on the board)?
No domino is allowed to hang over the edge of the board, and dominoes aren't allowed to cover each other.

Hint
Colors give it away!Answer
No it can't. Each domino covers a black square in the board and a white one (colors vary), if you take the corners you'll eliminate either 2 whites or 2 blacks so there will be 32 of one color and 30 of the other, hence you'll have 2 squares of the same color left. Yeah good one! At first I thought yes because you'd just push each one along but on modelling it with a 4x4 board it became obvious why not!
This was a good one I got it by looking at my own board though.
Difficult unles you actually have a chess board nearby
