Spazy Croonerisms 10
A spoonerism is a pair of words that can have their initial sounds switched to form new words. The pairs need only sound the same, not necessarily be spelled the same (power saw & sour paw, horse cart & coarse heart). There may sometimes be one or two connecting words (kick the stone & stick the cone, king of the rats & ring of the cats). Given the following definitions, what are the spoonerisms?
1) a nibble in Paris & sudden terror of a judge's seat
2) one who behaves amorously toward a hatch & soil on a carpet-covered surface
3) comical alp & a source of cash
4) discourteous hill & naked somersault

UCH! My brain HURTS!!!
Omg. I actually got ALL of these (by the hardest!!) No. 2 was really hard for me for some reason. I guess because I had "lover" in my head and that wasn't it. I had myself wondering what a "bance" was for a while, lol, but I finally figured out what that one was too. Yay!!
I thought these were great! no, I didn't say I GOT THEM
I said I LIKED them!

I gottem all, I gottum all!!! yay!
I really liked these. It wasn't easy, not at all, and although I think I've always solved the spooner teasers, most were much more of a breeze than this one! I am seeing that the essential element for making these is CREATIVITY! You can make endless pairs of spoonerisms, but finding a definition for each word or pair of words- THAT'S the hard part! Thanks, and conrats!!!
