Not bad for a first teaser. Try not to make so many assumptions. Not everyone on this site is aquainted with the nature of all after school activities (I didn't know what Kiwanis was and couldn't remember what Key club did). Stating someone is a straight A student doesn't really mean anything, as a straight A student can do any activity. Luckily since the other clues are so straight forward, I was able to solve this one pretty easily. Not trying to pick at you, just some helpful advice (I hope). Look forward to your next one!
I second the first comment.
I'm not so good at this but this was the most fun one in awhile, first I was able to solve it, and second there weren't so many extraneous details to blow my mind. Thanks, Joon
Fun and easy.. but i don't know what was Kiwanis.. except that the fact that it had to do with something professional... I was left between chorus and key club.. so the decision was kinda simple... (: Nice job anyway!
I found this teaser kind of hard to do. I didn't know what assumption to make about the straight A student, and I didn't know what Kiwanas or the Key Club was.
I guess it's decent for a first LG, BUT...
You could use some variety in your questions. Right now, it is just 1. (First Name) likes (action). 2. (Last Name) likes (same action). This makes it ridiculously simple, and also boring.
You might want to try other questions like "The 5 students are ___, ___, ___, ___, and ___." or "The student in band is a boy."
Just some friendly suggestions to help improve your teaser. Again, nice job, and I look forward to seeing more from you.

What is the kiwanis? that made it really hard for me to solve this logicc puzzle
this one was tough for me because i didn't know what Kiwanis was. Also because when i saw "tutoring" i thought that meant being tutored and not tutoring others. ohhh well. also, you used a first name and said something about them. then you used the last name and said the same thing about them. Ok job though. Keep trying
I agree with the person who commented before me. I kind of liked the simple hints, though they got confusing at first. Maybe ____ is NOT in _____ woulda been better. Oh and also, orchestra is way better than band!
NO WAY Band has more than 3-5 trumpets.
It made it too easy when for example you said Mr. James got elected by the student body.
Should have tried to make it a little more difficult to figure out last names, but good job anyway!

Meant to say was, not got. >_<
Simple
Thanks for the Logic w/Grid. I agree with previous posts about the "duplicate" clues, to get two answers, and also the confusion about Kiwanis Club. The funny clue was the one about a student liking to make keys. It gave you the answer to the Key Club, that wasn't a club that made keys. That was pretty funny. I like that I learned something else, (That the Key Club" is a junior version of the Kiwanis Club.

pretty good. i had no probs solving.
Hi
I agree with most of the previous comments, I would like to point out that a large proportion of the people who do these puzzles are not American and have no idea what obscure US institutions, like the Kiwanis, are.
If you want to make references to uniquely American things, it would be nice if you could explain what they are, in the "Hint".
Please keep plugging on, all the comments have been constructive, we just want to help you do better.
