Brain Teasers
Four Answers
Your job is to find, using the same letters, the four answers to this riddle.
Don't lose me, friends, though day and night,
I mock the swiftest bird in flight.
I'm murdered by mankind at large.
Reverse me - quickly I discharge.
Transposed, I'm in a bill, it's clear.
Once more, an insect will appear.

I found this teaser hard - but that's a good thing because it was challenging. I'd love to see more like this from you ares! Good job!
very challenge to my lazy brain
I don't get it! Why are there 6 lines of clues for 4 answers? I understand the concept, but not the link from the line of clues to the answers. Can you message me with how you came to the answers and what line corresponds with what answer. Cheers
Hi Ares II,
Thanks for the message, but thanks mostly for taking the time to make the answer clear to me. I'm sure everyone else will get it far quicker than i did. I liked it the first time, but with re-reading it, it becomes more impressive. I love the poetry and i love the clues. Thanks again for taking the time to show me how to resolve it. I hope to try and tackle the complete back catologue of your other riddles over the coming days. Take care

Great puzzle!
From the "discharge" I got myself to RIFLE, which has anagrams of FLIER (kind of fits one clue) and LIFER (which doesn't seem to fit anywhere.
When I couldn't get that to work, i gave up, but I wish I had persisted a little longer.
One small point: a mite is not an insect, it's an arachnid.
