Headlights
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
An 8 year old boy is walking home from a friend's house in the dark long after he was due home. He doesn't have a flashlight. He sees 2 headlights come around the corner and head straight for him. He tries to get out of the way but he zooms right between the lights. When he got home that night his mother was very mad at him for being late and sent him to his room.
Why didn't the boy get hurt?
Why didn't the boy get hurt?
Answer
The 2 headlights he saw coming were from 2 motorcycles. When they reached him they swerved around him, one passing on his left and one on his right.Hide Answer Show Answer

Yeah, good one, but he "zoomed" between them? More like they zoomed on either side of him, or "he ended up right between them.
