Snaps' TRIPE Question 7
The Snapsinski Test of Responsiveness, Intelligence, Perceptivity and Elucidation (more commonly known as Snaps' TRIPE) is used to examine a person's excogitations of insensate disquisitions, inter alia (ie. a person's thoughts about senseless babble, among other things). Question 7 of Snaps' TRIPE is shown below.
Question 7:
STARCH, TALENT, PLEASE, MINGLE, FACETS
Remove two letters from each of the five words above so that, without rearranging the removed letters, a 10-letter word is formed. However, the remaining four letters of each word must also form a new word, with those letters being kept in the existing order as well.
(eg. If given the words SPOILT and PRIEST to form a 4-letter word, the resulting words would be SILT (PO), PIES (RT) and the combined letters would form the word PORT).
