Brain Teasers
Heavenly Meal Time... or not
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
In both heaven and in hell, meal times have people sitting around circular tables with particular eating instruments and rules.
The rules are, they are forced to sit ten feet away from the food and must reach the food with long chopsticks. They must hold the chopsticks at the end at all times and must use the chopsticks to eat with (i.e. no hands).
This is extremely difficult, and a catch is rare. Interestingly enough, the people in heaven are well fed and the people in hell go hungry - I guess that's the idea ;).
Why? (Note: It is not "they are already dead", keep thinking)

Answer
The people in heaven would share, i.e. they will feed the people around them with their chopsticks and be fed by those around them in return. The people in hell would not.Hide Answer Show Answer

ive heard this before, its the vietnamese view of heaven. interesting, good intentioned, clever, etc - thumbs up
i heard that before but you still got me stumped.
i figured that that might be the answer, providing one takes a hardline approach to the types of people in heaven and the types of people in hell. the only other thing i could think of was that the people in heaven could have flown over the food, making it easier to see....that didn't help them eat it though
heard this one before...
LOL,, reading the comments are always the fun part to me actually.
id heard that one before... but had forgotten the answer
