Brain Teasers
Cryptoxymorography III
Cryptography
In Cryptography teasers, a phrase or expressions has been encoded in some way (frequently by replacing letters with other letters). You need to figure out the encoding method and then decode the message to find the answer.Cryptography
Oxymorons are words with opposite or incongruous meanings that when linked together, form a descriptive phrase.
Cryptography teasers are teasers in which a phrase or expression has been encoded in some way.
Cryptoxymorography teasers are teasers in which oxymorons are concealed in a cryptic mass of letters.
Can you decipher the oxymorons? They all use the same code.

YAY! More please...
You did it again bigSWAFF, I love these keep them coming
The third one is a charm! Great job really enjoy these.
Good job. Love these oxymorons.
good one dude, i pride myself by getting the daily cryptoquote in the newspaper but this teaser paired up with the oxymoron feature was hard... we likey though; keep them coming
Interesting, but I solved it with no problem. One of the better ones.
dont like these kind of teasers....
Superb teaser, big guy! Mixing oxymorons with the crytos is a fantastic way to solve these buggers! Way to go and Keep up the terrific work!
good 1
I definitelyl don't like this kind of teaser. Don't even know where to start. To those that find this easy, tell me how to figure it out. Thanks.
same here, bradon. but shouldn't this be under cryptography?
i dont really like this kind of teaser either
they take to long and are kinda boring!
sorry!

sorry!
I'm with you, bradon, even with the hint, I don't know where to start. But I'm glad others enjoy these.
Great one bigSwaff. Being a daily cryptoquip solver (newspaper) I love this kind. Brandon, you must look for letter patterns...double letters (pretty-really or double consonant +s, grills- spills). I usually try to find the e's first or word endings like ing and ers and ent. The-that-this-there-these are common. Hope this helps some
i actually don't like cryptography that much... but i did like the oxymorons!
Excellent!!!!
Bradon, here's what I did. I tried to figure out the vowels and double letters first, but there were too many to choose from so that didn't help me enough. Then I looked at the hint and filled in all the vowels. But that didn't help me enough either. So I opened up the answers, but scrooled down just far enough to get the first one. By using those letters I was able to figure out the rest. It may have been cheating a bit, but I still had to do some thinking and I enjoyed doing it. Also, once you have figured out one word in the pair, knowing that they are oxymorons helps you to know what the other word will be.I spent more time on this one than I usually do, but since it's Sunday and I have the day off, it was a nice afternoon activity.
I meant "scrolled" down.
It's so easy to miss a typo before entering the comment, and once it's done, there is no way to change it. If everyone were tolerant and just realize that it's not really a spelling error it would be easy to just ignore it. But I've seen so many negative comments on people's spelling (which I thought we aren't supposed to do) that it makes one feel dumb if you see you've let an error slip by. Anyone else feel that way?

I had to look at the hint to figure them out. Pretty fun.
Great job Swaff. I love Cryptos and you mixed them with oxymorons so it was even better. More please.
Thanks everyone for the tips on trying to figure these teaser out. And yes, icann, I feel the same way you do about "typos" not being spelling errors.
Way too hard
I don't like these kind lof teasers because I never figure out how you do them even after I see the answers.
hmm....excellent teaser...but, lazy bum that i am, i don't have the patience to sit down and actually work out the code...lol...i used to do the cryptoquotes w/ my grandpa...it's much more fun w/ someone else....again, great teaser!!!!
