Down on Main Street
Logic-Grid
Logic Grid puzzles come with a handy interactive grid that will help you solve the puzzle based on the given clues.Logic-Grid
The Smiths, the Joneses, the Alreds, the Woolards, and the Greens all live on Main Street. The numbers on the houses run from south to north, with the highest number being the most northerly. Each house is a different color: red, black, tan, yellow, or blue. In each yard is a different type of tree: oak, elm, ash, willow, or pine. Match the owner to the house number, the color of the house, and the type of tree in the yard.
1) The Smith house and the Woolard house do not have pine trees and neither does the black house.
2) The Green house is one north of the blue house and one south of the house with the pine tree.
3) The blue house is one north of the Woolard house, which is the next house north of the house with the willow tree.
4) Neither the Smith house nor the Alred house has a tree on its front lawn with a three letter name, but the colors of each of their houses are three letter words.
5) The Woolard house does not have an elm tree in its front yard.
6) The Green house is the next house to the south of the tan house and the next house north of the house with an oak on its front lawn.

A fun and interesting puzzle. Keep them coming.
Good one! I had to start over three times before solving it.
Excellent - I got it within a few minutes, but it did require some good deductions.
Wow, that took me longer than I was planning. Thanks for the challenge!
That was fun! I have to say it took me awhile to figure out where the Green house came from. I missed the capital letter making it the last name and not the color!
hard but i enjoyed it
Hard but fortunately, not as hard as I originally thought it would be! Just had to figure out the directions clues and then everything else fell into place very easily. Great puzzle though.
