Hey! I'm busy with studying so I may not post as much. But I will definitely try to get on every day

Hey everyone, I am ready for some wolf hunting!
*rawr*

I got an invitation for a talkbox, and did some experimenting to figure out how to write in one. Now I wonder how to get back to it. I hope I'm not in the one with two wolves.
Anyway, as usual, the first shot is gonna have to be random. And my easiest criteria for random shooting is activity. The ones who have not logged in for the longest time are ripe for shooting in my book. That will be the reason for my selection.
God began calling the light Day, but the darkness he called Night.

Hmm... I'm always in favour of shooting inactives - in the absence of a better reason to shoot someone - but it's a bit early to be pulling that trigger just yet.
Eh... actually with some type of format, we should be able to form a simple plan to weed out the wolves... but with timing issues that include "accepting invites" to talkbox and also trying to get in enough votes to cover the seer's track, that might be harder than I think =/
Anyways I will place a RANDOM vote (not necessarily an inactive/active player)... I would advise people to post, and that the seer claim within their talkbox, I REPEAT TALKBOX ONLY!!!!

Random votes? That is better than voting for an inactive... how?

The talkbox section is within the "Community" tab at the top of the website. It is right next to "Games". You should then see a "Talkbox" link that will bring you there.

I refuse to vote for inactives in round one since (unless the wolves also vote for one) it gives the wolves an advantage.
Therefore voting for myself.

I will wait to vote. I do not want to shoot a human.
I'm on Braingle far too long, I stay on the computer from dusk to dawn. Playing games and chatting with friends, the novelity of it never ends.

In round 0, joseph suggested that:
Please do not do this. If we out the groups, it will take a maximum of four rounds before we lose our seer.

You may find it helpful to share who all is in your Pack.

There will be no clues. The Packs are intended to be your clues.

This is where people fail to see the set-up...
There is a wolf in every talkbox, except the one with the seer... so therefore unless the wolves are literally blind, they have the seer narrowed down to 4 people... we need to know talkbox groups so that we can strategize.
I think in one talk box there's a higher percentage of hitting a wolf than in the other... so that's why I don't think we should vote randomly... my vote was to protect a potentially newbish seer... but votes can always change.
EDIT TO ADD:
This is our group so far... we may or may not be complete...

Since I know there's at least one wolf in our group, I will be voting for somone in my group (that isn't me obviously )

I don't want to shoot a human but I really don't want to accidentally shoot the seer, so I will vote to shoot someone in chang's pack as well.
The voting patterns are rather confusing at the moment - particularly numpty voting to shoot herself when there is already one vote to shoot her, which at the moment makes her the certain victim of a gunshot wound at the end of the day.
Anyway so far greenapples and the monkey man in my talk box. I'd suggest shooting the monkey, but that's become a bit of a cliche these days, so I think not.
Voting to shoot someone in chang's pack seems to be the current fashion - and chang was a wolf recently so he's probably a wolf again, since the TWG engine seems to find that amusing, so I'll go with that idea for now.

hey
well, one question, why can't the seer be in our group??
and joseph are you going to tell who we shot after each round??

I still do not know who to vote for.
I think I will vote for someone in my group who does not have a majority vote

just fyi, agents is in our pack, but hasn't posted here. shows how much he wants to play, which is why i'm shooting him
thanks for the tip, joseph. This idea of a separate talkbox can be confusing. I have enough trying to keep up with the main messages without a second box to have to read and keep up with. Someone already posted the talkbox I am in so I can't help with any new information.

Anyway, I note that peace has voted without any explanation - which I find the most suspicious thing anyone has done yet - so I'm changing my vote to peace. Rather drolly, the person they've voted for is the suicidal one, numpty.

fish vote for someone in changs pack

While I support shooting someone from my pack... it would be nice to know how the other packs stand >_>
OK, it seems reasonable (at least in my mind) that if we're shooting someone from my group that we need to seer someone from the other...
SO Mr/Mrs seer, I would recommend that you seer someone that isn't NOT in your group (obviously), but also NOT from my group...

Hey everybody. Sorry I'm so late to start. I'm putting my vote in for someone who won't get majority.
What others think of you is a constant source of worry, so take heart in knowing that they rarely ever do.

Sorry for the recent in activity. But anyway, I'm going to vote for somebody random from changhill's group. I figure we at least have a one in five (maybe two in six?) chance of getting a wolf that way. Plus, I'd rather not shoot the seer if could avoid it...
Ok, done randomizing; I'm voting for debc1.

Okay, peace joined the talk box that I am in, so that now makes it:
agents12
Cheshiress
GreenApples27
monkey289
peace
So as a 5 (at least) member box, it's definitely not the seer box, so one of these people is a wolf. Like agents12, peace hasn't posted anything in here OR in the talk box, so those are my top 2 suspects for wolfdom in my box.
That said, the suicidal numpty seems clearly destined to be shot now, given the number of votes for her, so not much point who I vote for.
