Welcome one and all. The talk boxes are set. Please make sure you understand the rules posted in Round 0.
As far as the story goes, I am just writing it for entertainment, added fun, or whatever. There are not meant to be clues in the story, nor is the story meant to mislead.
Roles in the Story:
Innkeeper - chunnie
Blacksmith's daughter - 21kaldridge21
Carpenter - buu441
Carpenter's Son - PYTHON
Retired School Teacher - bradon182001 (Bobbi)
Mayor - MrsBlondie
Carpenter's Daughter - kitty-cat
Priest - jeminy
Librarian - 4wheels
Shopkeeper 1 - koin_era345
Shopkeeper 2 - kajish
Librarian's Assistant - bookworm4god
Troll Woodcutter - debc1
Hobbit Barkeep - Ravonna
Shop Manager - JJPutz
Merchant - Oldcustard
Town Drunk - catmandon
Silversmith - AngloSaxon70
Farmer - Izzie
Tailor - JQPublic
The Story Continued:
After MrsBlondie had posted the papers, the following words also appeared:
The name of the twenty shall be these:
The two that discovered these sheets – Python and Kitty-cat
Their father – Buu
His associate – Deb
The learned scholars – Bobbi, Wheels, and Bookworm
Two metalworkers – Kaldridge and AngloSaxon
A worker of the land - Izzie
One that shelters strangers – Chunnie
One that offers refreshment – Ravonna
As well as the one that consumes – Catmandon
Sellers of goods – Koin, Kajish, OldCustard, JQPublic, and JJPutz
And lastly, village leaders both administrative and spiritual – MrsBondie and Jeminy
The villagers were stunned. Not only at the words magically appearing, but also because of the ones that were chosen. Why were these particular names chosen? Sure, the leaders made sense, but the town drunk? The troll? Children? It didn't seem to make sense. As the villagers were building to an uproar, MrsBlondie raised her arms.
"I know this is all very confusing, but I think the best we can do is follow the directions we've been given. I also found this quill in the box, so I suggest we write the name of who we choose on one of the blank pages. Bobbi, let us go to the library and see it we can find anything."
As Bobbi and MrsBlondie left with Wheels and Bookworm, the crowd slowly dispersed into smaller groups. Everyone wondered who he or she would choose...

Spv kajish for stealing my role.
Happy ever after in the marketplace, Desmond lets the children lend a hand. Molly stays at home and does her pretty face, and in the evening she's the singer with the band!

lol Somehow I didn't notice that you had also asked to be a shopkeeper. If I had, I would have picked something else. Besides, there's more than one kind of shop in a village. edit: SPV for deb

Ohh, cat's here. Switching my vote.
And it'll be difficult to pick out inactives so soon, since signups started just yesterday, so we'll have to find some other criterion for the Round 1 shot.

For what it's worth, there aren't usually very many (if any) inactives in these games.

Seconded. With nothing to go on, we have only a 1/5 chance at hitting a wolf. With them using some sort of deception, it's probably more like 1/6.
I think I'll stir things up and place a second vote for 4wheels.
Edit: I seconded his post before the edit. He added the part about the tavern later.
