I've been wondering about EMB as well. Last post I can find from her in a mutual TB is mid-December.Hope she is okay...

EMB had agreed to take over the hot seat in the Interview area of General Discussion. She seemed to be well and then like Bobbi said she just stopped answering questions and Froggy had let the game run until January 10, way past the time that someone new should have been chosen by EMB. But the unknown has me puzzled as it is so unlike her to drop something like that. I just hope all is well with her and she will return to Braingle.

I checked my friends list the other day, and it is just unreal how many Brainglers are MIA. Guess we will just have to stir things up a bit and see what turns up. I can sit here and look at the people on line, and there are numerous new names listed, which I am sure I will get to know, like Crystal Heart and No Eyed Fish. So Braingle is forever evolving.

The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?

I agree, I've been wondering about EMB, as well. I hope she's all right. But you're right, Grayma, that's part of the reason I love this place so much. There are always new people to get to know.

The dynamics of this site could be compared to a major shopping mall; if you have strong anchor stores you will attract smaller stores...

Here's SammyBean? It's been 3 months now... She said she'd be Bach soon, and 3 months is long enough.

I agree jaycr - we need some 'strong anchors' to bring people back time and time again. Its hard - I wish Jake would get a bit more involved with adding features, changing things around a bit, a bit more advertising of braingle elsewhere on the web to encourage more users....

I know he's busy with toodledoo (which I use to manage my office, incidentally!), but a bit of work on braingle wouldn't go amiss... I feel like the older child who has just been snubbed after the arrival of a new baby
