Stephen King's "The Shining" Part 1

First published in 1977, "The Shining" tells the story of a young family hired to care for the Overlook Hotel, a large building left empty and isolated during stormy winter months. Though young Danny, through his psychic gift known as "the shining", is warned of terrible things to come at the Overlook, the three-person family has no idea just how many viciously evil spirits reside at the hotel.
