Nationalism, I suppose. I'm proud the few times I actually accomplish something good, not when I realize I was fortunately born. It's a nice preference, but I wouldn't say it's as fulfilling.

But go ahead, tell us some good things about being Indian, if you fancy. Maybe we could turn this topic into a place to share stories about India. I think that'd be perfectly nice.

Based on the flag I'd say he's from the nation that had the great leader Ashoka, not one of the many indigenous groups on the American continents. [I wonder how Columbus would feel if he knew that to this day we were still using his mistake. Darn you Columbo!]

Arun never told us why he was proud. I guess it was all just hot air.
