As of now here is how you can score points:

50-Submitting a Brain Teaser that is approved
50-Submitting a Quiz that is approved
1-Taking a Quiz and rating it
1-Trying a Brain Teaser and rating it.
1-Taking a Photo Identification Quiz
1-Taking an Art Identification Quiz.
1-Rating or Reviewing a game in the Game Directory.
1-Helping with Braingle's Maintenance Tasks
1-Voting on definitions in our dictionary
Your IQ(max 140)-Taking our IQ Test

I think there should be new ways to earn points and different point values. Here is how I think it should be:
50-Submitting a Brain Teaser that is approved
75-Submitting a Quiz that is approved
1-Taking a Quiz and rating it
1-Every question you get right on a quiz
1-Trying a Brain Teaser and rating it.
1-Taking a Photo Identification Quiz
1-Taking an Art Identification Quiz.
2-Rating or Reviewing a game in the Game Directory.
10-Adding a game to the Game Directory
2-Helping with Braingle's Maintenance Tasks(These tasks are boring and tedious, so they should be worth more)
2-Voting on definitions in our dictionary(These tasks are boring and tedious, so they should be worth more)
Your IQ-Taking our IQ quiz
10-Correcting a teaser
10-Correcting a quiz
75-Reporting a duplicate teaser
5-Reviewing an unapproved teaser

You should lose points for the following:

-50: Breaking a rule

You should get a free subscription if you do the following:

Reviewing 10,0000 teasers
Every 20,000 points you earn

Another use for points:

The more points you have, the more people you can have in your talkbox.
For every 200 points you earn, you can spend them on more wiki pages. (For non-subscribers)
For every 250 points you earn, you can spend them on a bigger quota for brain teasers. (For non-subscribers)
You can also pay 2000 points to become an editor.
