Hi everyone! I thought I'd start up a topic for anyone who watches The X-Factor USA as well!

We could talk about who our favourites are, and how we think the performances go each week, and who we think should go!

Hopefully I'm not the only one who watches it...

As of now my three favourites (in order) are Rachel Crow, Drew and then Melanie Amaro!

The three girls... weird! My favourite Over 30 is Josh Krajcik, my favourite Group is Lakoda Rayne, and my favourite Boy is Marcus Canty!

I've been watching it, but because of the World Series it hasn't been on this week. Has the actual competition started yet?

Anyhow, I'm not that sure about Rachel. Do you really think she is that good? I haven't formed any real opinions yet, but the show has been entertaining.

Yes, I love Rachel Crow.
Her latest performance was a bit unfortunate, since the song choice didn't really match what she could really do. But if you think about her performances of "If I Were A Boy" and "I Want It That Way", they were magnificent.

And they've only just got the final 12 now, so Americans are only able to vote after the next episode.

I guess I'm the only one interested! Oh well.
Last night I really liked Drew's performance.

I am considering changing her to my favourite. The song choices Simon is picking for Rachel are hurting Rachel.

I think Josh Krajcik sounded amazing.

Again I don't think Chris Rene has a very strong voice.

I'm really nervous to see who goes home! All of the top 12 are really good, and it will be a shock for any of them to go home.

I really like Chris Rene and I don't think his voice is weak. He has that husky, gravely sound similar to Rod Stewart. Stacy Francis turned in a good performance, I think. I would think Rachel will move on to the next round, she's got that smile and charm that will get her a lot of votes. Her voice is okay, but I don't think she's the best in the competition. Drew is excellent and has a lot going for her in the looks department, so she'll move on for sure.

My prediction for who will go home: Astro.

But I hear a lot of people love Astro - though a lot of people hate him too.

I don't particularly like his cockiness, but I guess it's all part of the act.

Rachel's voice is really good when she gets those songs with a wide vocal range, like her audition at Bootcamp. That was amazing.

I'm thinking that Stereo Hogz will go home.

I think InTENsity probably deserved to go home.

Now, on tonight's performances!

I felt so bad for Drew.

Paula was trying to make some snarky comment to Simon which completely backfired, and at Drew's expense.

Also, I didn't like Drew's performance as much tonight.

Rachel was INCREDIBLE. As was Melanie Amaro.
I actually liked Astro's rap tonight (even though I don't like him that much) and I liked Chris Rene's performance as well.

I'm thinking maybe a group is going to go. But I really want Stacy Francis to leave.

She just... annoys me.

What do you all (and by all I mean no one since no one else cares

) think?

I do agree, Rachel and Melanie were both outstanding. Sorry but Drew's dress was just plain funny, in my opinion, (Simon really should have stopped Paula before she commented out loud, though) but her song was okay. I just don't like rap, so I was really disappointed with Chris's performance. Stacy did okay I think. The results will be interesting.

I watched it a second time, and Simon did try to butt in. Even Drew tried to butt in. But Paula kept on talking.

The top performances were Melanie, then Rachel, then Astro, in my opinion. But I love the song Lose Yourself. So that's probably why I liked Astro's performance.

I'm predicting that the Stereo Hogz will go (again).

I was right this time.

I felt so incredibly bad for Paula. Oh man.

It must've been so hard for her. When she was crying saying she couldn't vote, I felt like crying too.

But Lakoda Rayne definitely deserved to stay over The Stereo Hogzz. I think all three groups might be the first three to go.

That would be heart breaking for Paula.

I really want Stacy Francis to go next week.

What, no! Stacy Francis definitely deserved to go home. And injustice was served upon Astro. He only had a tantrum because he was mistreated. Something fishy went on backstage between him and the producers, and that's why he felt like he didn't want to perform.

Basically, in my opinion, he was never in the bottom 2. I think it was Lakoda Rayne and Stacy Francis. However, Paula can't have all three of her groups gone first, and the viewer ratings were low, so there needed to be some shock value. Astro was fine with being in the bottom 2 BEFORE he went backstage. It was only after then that he was upset. He said on his twitter "If only you knew what I know...". So, don't be so quick to judge ASTRO, maybe it's the producers you should be judging. Astro had much more talent than Stacy anyway, and he didn't deserve to be in the bottom 2.

Stacy was rude to Nicole, and she didn't come across well. So, I'm glad she's gone.

Not at all the way I saw it. I saw a spoiled brat who more or less said "If they (meaning the voting public) don't think I'm the best, then I'm going to take my marbles and go home." His whole attitude was that he was sooo much better and above having to perform again. No, he definitely spoiled it for me.

Also, don't you think that just the fact that they had a category for "groups" kind of dumb? I mean who isn't going to vote for a soloist? I think the groups were doomed from the beginning, and it's really no surprise that Simon gave that category to Paula. LOL

The whole thing was misleading. Astro shouldn't have got upset, but it's completely justifiable. The producers robbed him, and he was naturally upset. He probably shouldn't have taken it onto the stage though...

But keep watching, Bobbi, because I have no one else to talk to about this on braingle.

I think Lakoda Rayne and Leroy were the two that deserved to go home, so I was pleased with that result.

But, why must they be eliminating two people at a time?! Next week is double elimination again!

This is annoying.

I feel a bit bad for Paula now... no longer in the show as a mentor.

The only thing that kind of irks me about this show is the fact that it's pretty much American Idol, with almost the exact same judges, on the same channel.
