The new one is coming out in the states relatively soon, but I probably won't get it. Well, at least not for some time. I'm currently playing one I got last year, an old one, Wild World for the DS. I'm actually making this topic for two reasons. 1, is to discuss Animal Crossing games of future and past, share towns or whatever. I'm actually not quite sure if anyone in the Braingle community plays (or if those who do are on). This will likely be overlooked or not discussed. Hopefully some people will be playing the games, however, and will write.

The second reason for posting this is because I'd like a friend in my game. I've gotten a good way into my game, though I still have plenty more things to do. I'd like to get Nook's final upgrade and frankly, I'd also like to see other players' houses (the animals in my town have pretty dreadful homes).

My friend code is 4256-1921-8343, my name is Ace in it, and my town's name is Chowland. Please do stop by and share your code so that I can see your town as well. And, if you only have a different copy or no longer play it, then it's just as fine to discuss anything about it. (Personally, I quite like most of the K.K. songs and am glad to see that the newest one has a song called K.K. Idol).

I checked the site rules in case sharing friend codes is not allowed, but I don't think it's necessarily advertising as both parties that share friend codes benefit. However, adjustments can be made in that case and even if it doesn't help me in that sense, the discussion can still be interesting.

I used to play Animal Crossing all the time! I have Wild World, but it's at home (I'm at college). Next time I go home, I might bring it back with me cause I'm dreadfully without things to do this summer.

I was way more into the Gamecube version than Wild World, though, so I don't think my town is very impressive. haha

This is Ducky. I freaking love Animal Crossing, but I play the one for the Wii. I guess I could try the DS one (I do have it) but it was harder for me to use. Fat fingers and arthritis make it hard for me to hold the stylus for to long, lol.

That's good to hear. I've played all of the versions mentioned as well. The Wii version was a rental, but I do still own the Gamecube version (somewhere). I have to agree that I prefer the Gamecube version (didn't play enough of the Wii version, but it did seem pretty cool as well). I was surprised to see the lack of the holidays like Halloween. I'm glad they changed that back in the Wii version.

I have both the Gamecube version and the DS version. I have to say that I am a fan of the Gamecube version. However, after I beat it with my first character, I was kind of bored with it, you know?

When I get home, if I remember (haha), I will send you my friend code. I would LOVE to have a friend.

Just to be clear, we're talking about DS, right?

Sorry, I'm a little out of it today. I'm also in school, so that doesn't help...

I know when you get Animal Crossing for the Wii, you can transfer all your things from Wild World, but is it possible to visit someone on a DS from a Wii?

I play as well. I would love to be able to play with some of you as well over the WFC.

If any of you guys post your friend codes, I'd be happy to add you. I usually go on daily, but generally only for an hour in the mornings. I wouldn't mind playing for longer, but if not notified, I'll probably just be on around 10 AM in Pacific Standard Time if anyone's interested. My place probably isn't too great, but I do have a bunch of flowers around town and maxed out my house. I also have all of the songs.

One thing I eagerly am awaiting is catching all the bugs that will show up in July. Also, I recently caught a bee :}

Ducky again. I forgot to say that my name is Ellen and my town is called Hyrule.

My house is the completely leveled up one. (Sorry, had to brag.) I have all the fruits but apple. Please bring me an apple?

I haven't been on in a while, but I know what I'm going to do today. ;)
