I used to play this game with my grandmother, mom and sister all the time when I was younger. Great game! 
Oh, and the real name as I've known it is "500 Rummy". Small difference, but it makes a little more sense to me.
Family favorite of ours. I play with my dad and grandparents a lot. I love it.
I love the game, I call it Rummy five-hundred though. I am very competitive at this game.
