You just beat me to it, Talan.
Ok, active wolves. Blue can definitely be cleared. Be back later, to see what others think at this point.

Wolves are definitely busy.... (Jinx, Bobbi!)
Hey guys. I won't be on much tonight, but wanted to stop by. The killings by the wolves have been interesting. Don't quite know what to think. I have to agree with bradon though, that Blue is cleared. Will place a vote later in the round, after more have posted. Have a good night everyone!!!

Jeez... I really don't know what to do at this point. i don't have really strong suspicions right now, but we can assume that all the Indians (wolves) are active. I agree, blue is cleared.
Boy oh boy, that was a fast night. And I'm still sleepy.
Well not really, bur I am kinda surprised - we definitely have some very active wolves and everyone was either here or were expecting this to be a fast round. Hmm. Talan, Bobbi, Snow and masoni88. I think I will wait for a while and see who else shows up for the party. I agree with you all that Blue is cleared, but an inactive doesn't help us humans very much unless he comes back and joins in. Blue, blue, where are you?
Editting to try to get picture in folks. Sorry. And I did not realize it was going to be this big. Sorry Stewie.

Didn't celtichero have some strong suspicions.
Maybe the wolves are playing another double bluff game with us.

Celtichero suspected Smithy and voted for him. Again its Smithy involved in this bluff, double bluff, triple bluff lol. Im still suspecting Smithy and Snowy for reasons ive explained.
I have to agree that it was a very fast night. I came back on to make a quick run through the forums before I log off for the night and found that day had come again.
Before I vote, I'm going to go back and see if Celtic's suspicions of Smithy were all that he posted. It just seems too obvious for Smithy to be a wolf and then have two humans eaten that were connected in some way with suspecting Smithy. Sounds more like a frame up to me.
Anyway, I'll be back in the morning to see what else has been posted and to figure out where my vote is going.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

I just got home and i am surprised to discover that the night is over. Dont know what to think at this point. I will check back in the am and see if anything developes. Obviously bear is human even tho their inactivity is unhelpful. I cant try to think about any of this right now due to the fact that I am EXTREMELY drunk right now.Later!

Okay, better attempt at a frame from the wolves this time. I wonder what I did to earn their wraith?
I guess it's understandable if people are suspicious of me now, but all I can say again is that I'm a fairly experienced player and wouldn't thoughtlessly take out my most vociferous opponents, and neither would I have the need for any such elaborate double / quadruple / 2n (where n is any positive integer) bluff. It's quite entertaining, though, so I would like to thank the wolves for playing in the spirit of the game rather than just attacking the most experienced players every round.
One thing people (myself included) seem to have neglected to mention is that we have three wolves left, and none of the rounds have timed out, so we have three different votes going in for the night rounds - even if I did want to play my way through some sort of mad bluff scheme I wouldn't be able to do it myself.

Oh Smithy, I don't know what to think. I really don't think you're a wolf. I've seen you as a wolf before and you play quite differently than this. . . . but why are the wolves trying to set you up! A little less than 11 hours left in the round, so I should be able to log on later and vote. I'd love to see more thoughts before making a decision. It's agreed that Blue is cleared. I don't like inactives, but he/she may come in handy later in the game, so I'd rather not vote them off. Any thoughts on this? I know many love to shoot off the inactives, but - Blue may resurface and help us, especially in the later rounds.
More than likely, the 3 wolf mistake by Smithy was a typo, but IDK. . . . . could he be a wolf? I doubt it, but some may not feel the same way. We'll see.

Okay, Stewie has now posted that Sheep was human. In my mind that makes Smithy's comment an honest mistake (not that he couldn't still be a wolf) but I no longer suspect him because of his comment. However, the fact that Sheep has been pronounced human makes me even more suspicious than ever of Superleaf.

Well, I got my chance last round to shoot someone I was suspicious of and they turned out to be a chief. So I'm dumb and I yield voting privileges to others this round
I'll still vote, but by no means will I push for anyone like I did sheep. Sheep's demise clears bradon in my mind though. And I am probably dead wrong on this but here is my list of humans:
bluebear
bradon
superleaf
smithy
me (joseph_r03)
so that leaves this as my wolf list, who have we not heard from much?:
debc1
froggygg
little-mozart
Markus
masoni88
snowmonster
tahomac
talanpoe
vlerma

Lots of good points made so far. Joseph, how does Sheep's demise clear Bobbi and why do you feel superleaf is cleared? Everyone agrees that bluebear is clear because they are inactive.
At this point, even though I know bluebear cannot be a wolf, inactive players can make the difference between a Human win and a Wolf win in the later rounds. I've been in a few games where the inactive players actually played a huge part in the Humans losing a game. Therefore, I'm going to vote for bluebear unless someone comes up with a good reason to change my vote.

I will vote bluebear (an inactive) for now. We'll see what else turns up in the 7 hours left.
Ya know what, I was thinking the opposite froggy. I was thinking inactives actually help humans, rather than hinder. IDK, they could still show up later to help the humans out. . . so not sure I wanna go that route. I do dislike inactives though, so I'll think about it. I also want to know how Bobby looks to be cleared. Can you explain your thinking on this Joseph?

I agree with froggy. Ive been in games where it ends up 6 players left. 2 wolves, one active human and the rest inactive humans and the wolves can just pick the humans off safely. So il vote blue bear to.
Wait a minute. We all agree Blue is human. Why would we want to shoot him? Let the wolves eat him! So, I'm beginning to suspect Froggy now. I'm in agreement with you Snowy, one inactive, (and a human inactive at that,) will surely help us, not hurt us in the end. Is that a good enough reason, Froggy?

yeah blue is human, but come on play!!!
i would rather win/lose with active players than inactive
but since blue is human not sure i want to shoot him/her, but then again as my luck is going i will shoot another human whoever i pick
still 5 hours will wait a while longer

Bobbi, I see your logic. The only reason that I really dislike inactives is what usually happens at the end of a game. I've been in a few where the inactives were not shot and were left in the game. Since they were inactive, the wolves didn't see a need to eat them either. In the last few rounds it came down to active humans, inactive humans, and wolves. The wolves picked off the active humans knowing that the inactives were a pretty safe bet NOT to come back at the last minute and start voting. The games ended with the inactives being the only humans left and giving the win to the wolves.
Can you see my point here as well?
I really do not want to shoot a human, but will an inactive one really help us in the later rounds? Will the wolves really eat an inactive human when they can get rid of an active human?
I am more than willing to change my vote, but I'm not sure to whom...
I'll go back through the last few rounds and see if anything points to a specific person as a good suspect for a wolf. I'll be back before the voting ends.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Thanks for sharing this froggy. I really didn't think about it in this way. Either way, we're dammed if we do and dammed if we don't. What stinks the most is that we know Blue is human. I know time is running out on us. . . . well, we have less than 5 hours to go, but I am running out to do some shopping and then it's dinner time. If I don't vote now, I may not get to.
I guess I'm still wondering if Blue will make it back. I like to give the benefit of the doubt . . . as RL comes first, and I think we all agree with this. I just don't feel comfortable voting for anyone else yet either. . . .
I think I"ll vote for talanpoe this round. Why? He's been pretty quiet this round. I know it's the weekend, but . . . . maybe he's being a quiet wolf - watching this all go down. lol Kinda doubt it, but who knows! No one is really sticking out as wolfish - that's the problem!

I see people's point about leaving an inactive can be bad.... but I don't think that will be this case with this group of players. We have more than enough actives to form majorities over the wolves in later rounds. I think shooting bluebear is bad in that it gives the wolves two rounds in a row to eat off humans. That doesn't make much since as a reason, but I'd rather have a chance to shoot a wolf.
I think bradon is human because in round 1 she formed a 3 way tie for majority and I'm basing my "clearings" off of that a wolf will lay low and forming another majority player I think attracts some level of attention, it got my attention. So that is why I say she is human, may not be the best to some, but it is my reasoning for superleaf and smithy, so I'm trying to be consistent.
I will vote for someone not bluebear with votes already. No big suspicion, just would rather not shoot a known human. If the wolves were timing out the night round I might think differently. And thank you wolves for being prompt in the night rounds!

Inactives can really screw you over in the end. superleaf was in a game when I first started braingle (the game was moderated by DrizztGirl, a very good mod btw) and in the end, it was him, a wolf, and an inactive human. He couldn't get majority on the wolf (Mattieoftheleaf) and so the inactive was shot and superleaf was eaten. It never ends well to keep inactives around. In a game with 20 players, you should have the inactives gone by round 6. Otherwise it ruins it for the humans, and they lose. So we could keep blue around a bit longer if anyone has any suspicions towards the Indians (wolves).
It's the weekend, I think we should give our one known human, Blue, (I believe we all agree that he is human) another chance to join in the game. I know Talan has been busy in RL, but even so it's not like him to disappear for so long without some sort of analysis of the game. I'm going to vote Talanpoe for now to tie the votes for Blue, but will definitely keep my options open to change my vote before the round ends. And, Superleaf, I definitely still have my eye on you.

I have been doing some paperwork and I have discovered the following.
Round one ended with those killed voting for snowmonster and sheep.
Round two ended with those killed having voted for 4 wheels, jervis and snowmonster.
Round three ended with those killed having voted for tahomac, Smithy, froggy and superleaf.
And since Stewie has indicated that all those killed by us or eaten by the wolves have been human, out of respect for those who are no longer with us in the game I am placing a vote for the one player who appears to have been a person of suspicion by our fellow humans - Snowmonster - you have my vote. I realize that a lot of votes are being placed for our absent player - Bluebear - but hey, we know he is human. When we are this far into the game we need to save all the warm bodies we can even if they are absent. For that mattter we have another player who has not yet cast a vote, and deb isn't hollering about that one.
I have also discovered part of our problems as humans. We are so indecisive, myself included. Of all the players we have only one who has only voted for one player through all three rounds, which means the wolves are keeping us all stirred up with changing their victims each time so no one can get a clear idea of who is who.
And I have also noticed what I think is a pattern. Each one of those eaten - had they just voted for a wolf? If you notice in the pattern none of those last voted for have met with death, shot or eaten. Just some food for thought.
I say save the BlueBear, he has been cleared, and we know he is human. We need to keep the cowboy/Indian odds better and we can't do that if we purposesly put a hole in our circle of wagons. Change your votes, please.
The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?

Hey bluebear, glad you joined in again. I didn't really want to shoot a known human, but you were being inactive and I know what that can do to the humans. I will change my vote. I will vote snowmonster. I have been suspicious of her, as well as superleaf, though him not as much.
