Welcome to Round 2! We bid farewell to june12 and Days.
As the darkness fell, june12 was still lying in the pouring rain, lifeless beside her tent. No one had walked passed her tent, so they were none the wiser that she had been shot. Days, a younger Indian, was a rather curious girl. She loved the rain, and she loved to dance. When she knew she wasn't under the supervision of others, she ran outside and began to jump in the puddles and sing. However, she felt herself being watched. She stopped dancing and paid attention to the happenings around her. Suddenly she saw two Cowboys approaching her. Frightened, she began to run towards the doors to go inside where all the others were, but was stopped at the doors by a third Cowboy. She then felt the hands of a fourth cowboy on her shoulders. Screaming, she began to rain in the other direction, away from the main hall. But she tripped on something - it was june12's body. She stared horrified, then felt the same sharp pain june12 felt, right through her chest. Goodbye Days.
Days was not the Chief Indian.

It seems we no longer have to worry about 4demo's vote deciding who is shot.
Days was an inactive player, so good to know she didn't have the "Chief Indian" role.
I kinda feel like I should vote right now cause I have a busy day tomorrow and making it to the computer isn't guaranteed, but I also don't want my random vote messing up anything.
I'll just have to find a few minutes to return before the round ends, hopefully.

Goodnight everyone. I'll check back in on the game in the morning.

. I am sorry to see such a sweet innocent little girl go. Those cowboys are gonna pay.
It is way too early to vote in the round. So I will wait to see what others say this round. Later.

So. I'll try coming back on later, but don't expect me to. I hate time zones.

I believe that night timed out? The Cowboys are probably doing it on purpose, though.
I'll put in a fish vote for someone who isn't being voted until I can get on again.

I agree with softball, night did time out. I was watching so why is Chunnie frim on his statement that it didn't.
It looked close, but I don't think it did time out. It looked like there was a few hours left to me, but then again I did check sporadically. If it did time out, that means little as they could be letting it time out to look inactive. At least if there was an actual inactive wolf or two it might randomly choose Days, but if not, the wolves probably chose her, which seems odd to me. Days is inactive, would probably have been shot for being inactive anyways, and getting rid of her would get rid of a possibility for an inactive wolf. They could just be taking a different path. Which is what I'd suspect over having inactive wolves. In fact, it looks like everyone here has been on at least once yesterday, which means they had to have let it time out, so I really don't understand why they did what they did.
Cab voted early without looking who was eaten and Stewie sounds like he's trying a little too hard to be human with the whole "we're gonna get them wolves" thing. Lol. It's probably sincere, but it gets my attention. Chunnie might be lying about the round timing out, though I don't know what that would do but confuse us, really.
I don't want to find a pileup when I get back on, but I'm going to cast a vote for Softball right now because she's said a few things that have seemed odd this game. It is really early, but I'd rather generate some talk. I'll be back on before the round ends.
There are no clues in this game, right?
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

I was watching the time as well. The day round should have started around 1:30 am my time. When I logged in a few minutes ago it said the round started over 9 hours ago, which means it ended before midnight my time. It is now 8:40 am my time. So I belive night did not time out, but it was less than a couple hours left.

This round is almost half over, yet we only have 3 votes. We need everyone voting every round in order to help ensure our key player's survival. Let's start packing in those seer protection votes folks.

We need to concentrate more on who posted what in the last round rather than play into the wolves hands by wasting a round argueing over weather or not night timed out. You never know. We might get lucky.
Though we seem to be taking the wrong approach this round.
That's just my two cents on the matter.

Hmmm... I knew night didn't time out because I was contemplating whether to stay awake until after midnight (when it was supposed to end) to see if I made it through the round, but when I did one of my random checks at 9:37 it had just ended.
Softball seemed like she was unsure whether night timed out, but Queenbee claimed that she was "watching" and even challenged my claim that it didn't time out. If she was really watching, as she says, then she also would have known that night in fact ended hours early. But if she was watching and saw when the round ended, then why did she wait almost 9 hours after the new round started before she posted?
Now, everyone seems active, so a wolf wouldn't gain anything from getting us to believe that night timed out. As LR said, the only thing that lying about it could do is confuse us.
The only conclusion I can draw from this is that Queenbee wasn't really watching when night ended. I don't know why she would lie about that though. She may in fact be a wolf, but I doubt it. I have my eyes on softball though, but I don't suspect her enough to start a majority just yet.
I also have my eyes on Wolverine and debc1. Both posted once last round then disappeared. Since I voted Wolverine last round, I'll vote debc1 this round.

I'm awake for what its worth. Doubtful I'll get another opportunity to log in "today" so I'm going to go ahead and vote to protect the seer. Voted 4th from the top last round; 4th from the bottom is me and the next one up is Stewie (still exempt) so looks like snow is the lucky target. (That's a random choice, by the way; I have no particular reason to think Snow is anything but a red-blooded indian brave. I did realize after the fact that she voted for me last round, but that honestly wasn't a factor in the pick.)
I have no sense yet as to who is, umm, wearing a cowboy hat and who isn't.

I find it a little odd that wiser has voted without indicating it in a post (and would think the same regardless of who was on the receiving end of the vote ). Of course, she has posted and it's not an immediate indicator of guilt to be in a rush or preoccupied and simply forget to make a post if you prefer voting first, so I wouldn't read much into this alone now.
Voting for QueenBee as she doesn't seem to have received a vote yet, and thankfully it seems my vote doesn't immediately condemn anyone!

I am sure the wolves are sitting back laughing at all this confusion they caused.
I am going to vote shady for the moment. I know it puts her in a majority. And I have no real suspicion of her.
But hopefully it sparks more interesting posts.
I am sure I will change my vote before the dnd of the round. But for now.

I don't know why Shadows hasn't posted here yet as she has been on the site. She's probably busy, but perhaps she didn't get a notification that the game started? Either way, I don't really know what getting a majority on her will do, except for possibly getting wolves to defend her, if she can't really defend herself in person (as of yet) which would be much more telling, I think.
I guess you could argue that she let night time out by being inactive in the game, but if night didn't time out there's no reason why she's more likely than anyone else. Though it's true that wolves often lie low to avoid suspicion, and you can't argue that not posting is lying pretty low.
Of course, denying an accusation is really only good when you know a good replacement.

Well, with all due respect, hearsay is still hearsay. I think we can determine it, though, if we look at the time GA posted. My time says it was around 10:40 PM. This round's first post was made at 6:37 PM the next day. That's only twenty hours. Of course, GA's post was edited, but even the edited time marks it at around 12:50 AM, I believe, still too early if we assume Chunnie's post was close to the start of this round. At least that's the only assumption now.
Sorry to harp on the same old subject though.

I just want to say one final thing about this, and then I won't bring it up again.
LR, my first post this round was at 9:37 pm, and I posted immediately after night ended. So if night did in fact time out, then it would have had to start 9:37 pm the previous day (since night lasts 24 hours). Looking back at the final posts of last round, 4demo, caberet, LR and I all posted after 9:37 pm, which would be impossible if night started at 9:37 pm (unless we somehow developed the ability to post during the night ).
Even if you don't believe that I posted immediately after night ended, that would only mean that night would have ended (and therefore started) before 9:37 pm, pulling softball into the list of ppl who have gained the magical ability to post during the night.
So, since I'm sure that none of us have magical powers, night could not have possibly timed out.

No offense to either side, but is this even particularly relevant? It seems we have a very active group of players, and I'm pretty sure that as of whenever this round started, everyone but Days had logged on either 'today' or 'yesterday' -- and since Days is no longer even in the game, nobody would be cleared regardless of whether or not Night timed out.

No, it's not very relevant. But I wouldn't say it's absolutely useless either. While no one's inactive, as I pondered above, if Shadows didn't know the game had started, the round timing out could be useful to know. It probably doesn't have much other uses though, true.
Chunnie's defensive post is a little odd though. I understand if my last post might have seemed argumentative, but that was not my motive. I merely wanted to pose necessary logical steps to the, admittedly not so useful, question of the when the night round ended. And the facts of the matter are: it couldn't have timed out; I forgot to realise, since there were posts in this round earlier than the time it was supposed to end, it couldn't have timed out. That's the key in me, finally.
Now for something completely different ...

I still don't see anything worthy of pursuing a majority, so Ill stick with my vote for now.

An hour to go until nightfall... good luck everyone.
I haven't posted until now because Day ended right before I logged on last round. Well, now I'm here. I'll just vote for a random person because nobody really seems suspicious.
I am suspicious...Ah, well.
This may seem like a rookie question, but couldn't there be an inactive cowboy even if night did not time out? I know this is a longshot, but, if three out of the four cowboys voted for the same person, in other words, "reaching a majority", wouldn't night end? I doubt that happens often, but...just something to think about.
I am keeping my vote, whereas no one else is voting him...he hasn't posted, either.
I hope to be more active next round.
To Whom it May Concern: This post was made approximately 27 minutes before day timed out.

The day round lasted 24 hours. It wasn't quick at all. This posting is standing out to me. I consider Shadows a 'person of interest.'

I may change my vote and even things up !!!
And so night falls... And we say goodbye to our latest victim, Shadows.
The sun rose behind the clouds on the wet morning, following the torrential rain the night before. As everyone went out to do their duties among the village, the bodies of june12 and Days were discovered. How horrible, that two innocent Indians should have died due to these terrible Cowboys. The Indians thought it was time to take charge, time to get their act together. They don't want others to fall like these two ladies have. They plotted all day. LogicalRoger and chunnie squabbled over the rising of the sun, and Shadows was considered a person of interest by both debc1 and caberet. Things were truly beginning to heat up. While searching for the gun that killed Days, Shadows went wryly off course, and unfortunately her absence was seen as something of suspicion. When she arrived back she had successfully found the murder weapon, but she was accused of the murders of june12 and Days. "It wasn't me!" she was yelling, but no one believed her. For she had the gun in her hand, it could quite possibly be her that shot the bullets. caberet and debc1 wrestled the gun from Shadows, and amongst the struggle someone had pulled the trigger. All the onlookers gasped, and fell silent. debc1 struggled away, and everyone saw she was okay. What about caberet and Shadows? Both were still standing next to each other, frozen. After a long pause, Shadows fell to the ground, with a single tear rolling down her cheek. She took one last breath, using it to protest her innocence, not that it would have an impact on whether she lived anymore. Shadows closed her eyes, never to have them opened again. caberet, in shock of the events leading up to Shadows' death, dropped to the floor and checked Shadows' pulse. Nothing. Today marks the loss of a third Indian. Four Cowboys, twelve Indians and a Chief Indian fell silent. Who's going to be next..?
