Welcome to Round 6!
Sorry I'm late, but I'm sure you have assumed, Cat was HUMAN.
Challenge - Charles Dickens, author of "A Christmas Carol", was influenced by something that happened to him at an early age. What was this life changing experience that would influence his works.
The Player that posts the correct answer first, will will Immunity for this round only.
Sophie got it!
Sophie Drake has immunity this round! She cannot be shot or eaten!
Not only did he have his own debts to pay, but he was responsible for his father's. It was hardly the first time. Decades before, his parents and younger brothers were carted off to debtors' jail. Only 12-year-old Charles stayed behind, working in a blacking factory to pay their bills. Those long miserable months, Silva said, "made him a passionate advocate of the poor and defenseless."
It is believed that his experiences from this influenced all his works. I would especially say "A Christmas Carol".

Quoting Who Rnd 3
Her way of telling us she was divining Hydra?
Quoting Who Rnd 4
I think it's safe to say Hydra is Human.
following our seer's thoughts and going back to Hermione once again.

If Hydra has won the immunity, might I suggest to our seer to use the opportunity to find out his status? Last time I was seer my choices kept getting eaten. Just a thought.
Her way of telling us she was divining Hydra?
Quoting Who Rnd 4
Time for my list.
Aviator - still a new player, nervousness could be attributed to that. Leaning human
Bradon - solid and straightforward, leaning human
Catmandon - not much to go on, so equal odds
Froggy - tendency is to trust, but slight chance of danger in that... equal odds
Hermione - her push for kz is slightly suspect now his ID is known, leaning wolf
Hydra - open and helpful, believe to be human
Sophie - leaning a bit more human than not, but may change
Stewie - feel last round was his tell, believe to be wolf
My strongest hunch at this time is Stewie, voting accordingly

SO I'm still leaning toward Hydra. Last round he voted for froggy and she got eaten. SO, maybe because she is so intuitive and smart, she got eaten. Vote going to Hydra
Viva la vie boheme :)
Viva la vie boheme :)
I'll be gone for awhile but I'll go ahead and put a vote on.
Following whov's thoughts, I would lean towards Granger as our wolf. She's been under a lot of suspicion through the game so I'll vote for her and hopefully we can end this game !
Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil. -No Point

[Sorry, my brain is fried from going on a field trip and then Christmas shopping. I'm pretty sure I'm human, lol. I still have weird feelings about hydra. He is being super helpful but what if it's to deflect attention from his wolfiness? I'm gonna go ahead and lock in a vote for him. /quote]
If she is only "pretty sure" maybe we should find out for sure. I'll join the Hermione vote. But not just yet. One more vote and the round will end and we haven't heard from Hydra yet. Will give him a chance to comment, but in case he decides to cast the 3rd vote for Herm, know that I would, too.

I don't know what happened with my last post, but my comments, of course, are the ones posted in red. lol

Please see above post!!!
Sophie, I didn't mean to dismiss your question about my location. I am about 35 miles East of Cleveland in Lake County. So we're not too far from each other!
Husband's still not home. . . . stuck in Tampa, but should be home tonight, late. The storms effecting the country are strange - snow in Texas, Atlanta . . . . .
Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

Since Hydra appears to have been on Braingle but has yet to check in here I've got to rethink things. All previous rounds he has been one of the first to post, if not the first. That is strange, and is more suspicious to me than Herm's sarcastic comment, so I'll vote Hydra knowing he will come on and vote Herm and she will be shot. If that is the case, next round whoever is left needs to vote Hydra.

Answer: I hope, Are you referring to the year Charles Dickens' father and mother were sent to Debtor's prison, he was pulled from school and put in a boot-blackening factory -
Snowy - We're waiting on snow here in the next couple of days but you are in the sow belt then aren't you. We don't see too much right here because of being 100 ft off the lake - it tends to blow over. Hope your husband gets home soon.
Well since I'm about to be shot because apparently sarcasm is suspicious, yall are gonna let the wolves win...

I really think that Who was telling us that Hydra was human. Think about it. She said the seer [her] should divine Hydra and in the next round, she said she thought Hydra was pretty much human.

Sophie, I'm only about 5 miles from Lake Erie. A benefit during the Summer, as the lake is beautiful, but brutal during the winter months - the winds off the lake can be harsh, and with being in the snow belt, we get plenty of snow, averaging anywhere between 20 to 40 inches a winter. When we get that amount all at once . . .then we're cooking with peanut oil . . . . the adventure begins! LOL Thank God for snowblowers, but there was a time we didn't have anything but our backs to shovel the stuff. lol

again, I believe that hydra is human. IF hermione is human as she says, then Aviator is the next suspicion...Hermione if you change your vote off of hydra, I will switch my vote off of you...this round. Just have to hope that Who didn't mislead us by mistake. Although I don't believe that Bradon is above suspicion.

Don't you think it's strange that Hydra hasn't posted or voted this round? Every other round he was either 1st or 2nd to post and he has been on Braingle since your 7:13 AM start of this round. What do you make of that? That information is available to everyone, so I'm not saying anything that isn't available to anyone.
However, based on Who's statement as you point out, she believes him to be human, I'll go back to my original vote on Herm. You can do whatever you feel is best.
