Hmm....I wonder why are mod hasn't posted for awhile. Meh, as long as he starts the rounds I'm fine with it.
EDIT: Reading the posts in second round I say we go for JJPutz. I'm not sure if there was a majority on me or not last round.

Well we do need to form a majority this round; JJPutz works for me, vote for JJ confirmed.
If I don't make it to next round; maybe clear Habs next

I'm still going with my vote from last round, Jayo. I just have a feeling, nothing definite, but strong enough to keep my vote on him at least for now.

I'll keep my vote on Putzy
He's a good kid so I can see the fear of being on a ladder, I can also see playing football and rugby in the school playground.

No one was cleared last round. The two fired had no posts as to whether they voted or not... and hence they could have been mandatories.
I will fish vote for phrebh this round. edit... vote confirmed

Safety vote for mann551.
Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

I wouldn't mind being a part of a majority on phrebh in some future round.
I would guess based on the sports the boss says he or she (but most likely he) played it is a fairly safe bet that the boss is male. I know a few females who play male dominated type sports but not that many. And I know I as a female leave all the "Mr. Fix-it" type things to a male so I have ever really had occasion to get up on a ladder. Not that I would have a proboem doing it. Heights don't bother me at all. I've been parasailing numerous times, and want to try BASE jumping or SkyDiving - but probably BASE it just seems like it 'd be more fun. And I am definately doing THIS next summer. I wanted to do it this summer, but it only opened in August and there was a long list to get in. And the $300.00+ price tag was a bit out of my reach. Anyway point being, I'm an adrenalin junkie, I love to do anything where your life hangs in the balance and death is a possibility.

I am not afraid of heights, per sey, except when I do not feel comfortable. I climb ladders all the time... own both a 20 foot and a 34 foot extension ladders and have been almost to the top of both working on the outside of houses. I don't run up the ladders, but I feel comfortable enough to do it. I definately would not walk on a platform that is made of glass and looks down several floors... such as the new platform at the Grand Canyon. No thank you... do I think the platform is safe, yes. However, my legs would probably give out under me... its that part of my fear that tell me that there is nothing under me and if the glass broke - I am gone. Mentally, I know the glass is thick and that it is safe... but my eyes would not know that. When I first saw that advertised, I told the wife that we would never walk out there together...she understood.
So nad331... why did we pick holidays?

Well, if the boss is being honest, they've played rugby and football. . . . I'm thinking a non U.S. citizen..... and male.

It would help if we knew what the boss meant when he said "football" did he mean what we as North Americans know as football or did he mean what the rest of the world calls football and we know as soccer? I will defer to the Europeans (and other Non North Americans) to answer wheter or not the sport of American Football even exists outside North America? Do you play that sport?

Your right snowmonster - while amateur rugby leagues exist in the US it's not really played in school yards (we play regular football and kill the man with the ball), close to rugby but no scrum. Boss could be talking about worldwide football - what we Northern Americans call Soccer.
So I will switch my vote to Jayo - Rugby would be a normal game in Ireland.

You understand we will probably be fired if we are wrong, MGH. However, I had the same thoughts, so I'm holding my vote on Jayo. Anyone else?

This part of the Boss's answer (Even with all rough sports I've played (rugby and football for example) - bothers me. It "sounds" as if they've played rugby and football, but the boss really isn't saying the have played these games, just that the rough sports they've played, are "like" rugby and football . . . . So, they may be trying to lead us to someone outside of the U.S. IDK. . . I'm thinking. Maybe overthinking, but the boss volunteered this info, when they didn't have to. . . so are they playing with us, making us "think" they've actually played these sports? To me, they are either playing with us, or they are somewhat new to being boss, and have shared something, they didn't need to, about themselves.
**edit - and if they are playing with us. . . I wouldn't rule out the boss being female. Not a lot of females play rough sports, but as a child, one could have participated in some rough games or "sports". Just thinking. . . . .

Well I also think the boss is male not sure yet about american or not....voting jayo for now
It's all about The U
It's all about The U
Snowy, the way the boss answered that question, it was not as an example of the games they could have played... but an example of the games they did play. Had the boss said, 'like..." then it would be an example, but the boss said "with all the games I have played (rugby and football for example)"... so the boss has played these games. I would cry foul if the boss had not played them based on what was said. However, football could be the US football or European/South America's soccer.
I will join the majority on Jayo... gotta make a commitment some time
edit... but I agree with you Snowy, the boss could be a female. Young folks today like to play almost all games. I am not even quite sure how Rugby is played, but the name alone sounds "rough". Is this the game where the people run around the field holding the ball and passing it, even if they get tackled? (No, I am not trying to distance myself from this clue by sounding like I do not know... I truly am not sure and would like to know for myself...thank you)

Oh, I don't know, a clever boss could manipulate the answer to make it sound as if they played these sports but actually did not. It's early in the game, so for me, I have to consider all possibilities. . . and with that, I'm not convinced the boss is male, female, have played football and/or Rugby or not. . . . I get what you're saying though, but for now, I'm keeping an open mind. . . .
