Who's The Boss
Game #2803: WTB: Active Store Revamped 2
This game is moderated by jarmihi. Please read the rules and contact the moderator with any questions or concerns about this game.
This game finished in 9 rounds.
Update: The game should begin around the following times:
6:00p MDT, 7:00p CDT, 8:00p EDT, 5:30a Sunday IST, 12:00p Sunday NZST.
Update: Psych Question submitted 19:03 EDT
O hai! Welcome to Jarmihi's Fabulous Game Parlor! (PARTY! -- open in new tab for ultima-fun!)
In this game, the Active Store bazaar makes a freak return as I am bored as all get out of my vacation.
You players can purchase items which allow you to "break" the game. In order to earn points to purchase the items, you must be an active player. Each post that follows the rules is worth one point. Completing challenges will earn you more points. Some items are easy to get and unlimited in number, while others require you to complete challenges to be able to purchase and are few in number if not singular.
In Round 0, if you post once, you earn a point before the game even begins!
Also, if you all could post the time zone in which you currently reside, that would be great for time co-ordination. Thanks! -- Jarmihi

Eastern = 3
Mountain = 2
Central = 2
India Standard Time = 1
New Zealand = 1
Based on where people are at, I'll try to start rounds so that they end either in the morning or in the evening for those in GMT-6:30. The idea is to have a round start and end at a time either before or after a typical 9-5 work day, not during it.

Shogi - or Japanese chess - is better than regular chess. You should visit 81Dojo.com to play shogi.

I'm not sure what it is, but I'm pretty sure it's not any of those; they're U.S. time zones. Wikipedia says it's "Indian Standard Time", or, since this is DST now, I guess that would be "Indian Daylight Time."

RULES
Here are the rules for this game:

Here are the rules for this game:
1. All normal rules apply except when an item is purchased and used.
2. Each round will have a Challenge. See the Challenge Listing below the Bazaar for more information.
3. Every constructive single post = 1 point. Double posts are worth zero unless three hours have passed since your last post. Spam/useless posts will not be tolerated, and will result in a warning and forfeiture of all points the first time and a ModKill the second time.
4. In purchasing an item, you MUST use the purchasing form found in the Bazaar section of this post.
5. You do not have to use an item once you have bought it. When you do use it, make it obvious to the dumb moderator.
6. The Boss has a private bazaar full of items. See that list here. He earns Firing Points (FP) by firing inactive players. FP can only be used at the Boss Bazaar. Similarly, the Boss can't use normal points at the Boss Bazaar. Here's the page explaining how the Boss earns FP.
7. The moderator colors are green, purple, and red. Please do not use them. Green is for comments, purple for official text, and red for important things like urgent announcements and warnings.
8. The use of the word "he" in reference to the Boss does not imply gender and is used simply to have a pronoun.
Good luck, and have fun!

I dunno. "I'm in India. You decide whether that's eastern, central, or mountain." It was just a guess. Text-based forums are not the best for judging tone.
Apparently it isn't sarcasm. My mistake. Only serves to prove the point that it's hard to tell what people are thinking online.
