Who's The Boss
Game #3167: Trick or Treat?
This private game is moderated by LogicalRoger. Please read the rules and contact the moderator with any questions or concerns about this game.
This game finished in 8 rounds.
Another two souls have vanished. The chief is really going to have my head for losing all of these civilians like this. Uh, well, if you can apprehend the criminals I'd be more than happy. Otherwise...
Oh, I know. Since you're not having much luck with clues, maybe this tip will help. There is now a clue in every location so at every place will be a single winning piece of candy. That should help keeping up the hope for clues. You'll have one in no time. But I won't be adding one next round or else our bureau will be shut down for wasting tax payer's money on fortune telling again.
Anyways. Here is the new prompt: Jack'O'Lanterns
And here were last round's answers:
Prompt 4: Please describe your favourite experience involving a costume. The costume can be associated with Halloween or not.
Person 1: A friend and I were good friends with a few of the DJs at one of the local radio stations . The station sponsered a entry by winning ticket only halloween party.
Though we did not win tickets, we went anyway.
The theme was "Deadman's Ball". We dressed up as a particular purple vegetable used in making borscht.we covered our bodies with bruises and made our eyes very shallow so we appeared to be deceased.
We won the prize for best costume.
Person 2: Favorite childhood memory is of a bonfire night where my friends and I all dressed up as knights. We had these broomstick horses and we rode around and around the fire shouting at each other.
Person 3: The one costume that stands out to me is when I was a clown. Red and white polka dot suit, and white makeup with a red nose. Not very original, but I did have a lot of fun.
Good luck. I hope the game's been fun so far.

Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?
Very interesting. My talk box is untouched and frankly WAY TOO QUIET.
It's been interesting having three prompts each round. Knowing there's one that's from the same person might be key to helping us figure this out. Also clues. Clues would be good.
LR, I'm going to the apartments this round.
Safety for talanpoe - subject to change.
It's a disease, not a punch line

I haven't even been checking in the talk boxes for a while, fortunately I have a weekend coming up now
Safety for whovi. I know she is cleared but since I am also I don't want to be in a majority.

Unless I'm missing something, Who can be considered cleared since both Froggy amd Mnky were fired. I was considering voting for talanpoe again, but not sure if I should now. I'll place a safety for Absy for now, and be back later.
I'm still thinking Person #2's answer was written by the same person as the previous rounds, If I understand correctly, one of the prompt answers was written by either the boss or the rat and the remaining answers by randomly chosen players still in the game. Correct me if I'm wrong, LR.

That's mostly correct, Bobbi. Except that I have not had the rat's answer stand in for the boss's answer. Each round has had the boss's answer somewhere among two others. The other two are entirely random and could be players missing or still here, employee or rat. (I won't show any answers from players who were not in the game when they submitted the answer, though).

Pretty sure who was already considered clear as she had a majority on her last round...
Also, hitting studor yet again...

Gonna hit Redding Farm and... idk who to vote for, so voting for dawn.
fear my cuteness.
fear my cuteness.
I wrote the first one. That was a great Halloween.
I think ws should all go to the same place to increase our chances of getting a candy clue.
Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

Ooh I have been MIA for a day or so .. sorry about that. I don't think I got a form in for last round, but my days are running together and I can't be sure. I have also forgotten completely that we had a talkbox ... I'm so sorry! I need to get it together. I will place a safety for Whov again for now.
Are we allowed to claim a prompt as our own?
I will also go to the Farm.
Haven't decided who to vote for - I consider whovian clear, but don't know about dawn. Harry posted in our box that he was confused about why he was fired since he didn't vote for dawn. There's just a weirdness about it. So I'm not ruling out dawn, but he'll be a backburner for now.
absy gets my vote this round.

You're free to claim whatever prompt you want but I doubt it would ever be quite that simple.

Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?
OK. I've got three things that I've noticed.
1) Habs (from my count) should have been tied with Mnkgrl in R2 but only Mnkgrl's voters were fired
2) The "muhahaha" in the memo suggests to me a more experienced player (not necessarily older, but has been around longer).
3) Habs has posted this round but didn't announce a vote. Oversight, or simply a failure to create a lie?
None of those things on its own is enough, but taken together they do create enough suspicion for a vote. So I'll vote for Habs.
(And go back to the crooked house too.)
Voting list:
absy - whoviandeb
bradon182001 - absy
dawnrising - whoviandeb
DrHoo - Habs
HABS2933 - talanpoe
MDCTeasers - dawnrising
talanpoe - habs
whoviandeb - talanpoe
absy - ??
bradon182001 - Greendale Apartments
dawnrising - Studor Mansion
DrHoo - Redding Farm
HABS2933 - Redding Farm
MDCTeasers - Redding Farm
talanpoe - crooked house

The #2 quote in R2 was mine, but none of the rest are; so your theory is at least partially wrong.

My theories are usually wrong anyway, but this time I'm really not so sure I'm wrong. However, will leave our only for sure clear out of a majority for now.
And I think I'll go back for more M&M's at Greendale Apartments.

Well, HABS says she's prompt #1. I'm prompt #2. Probably obvious given my reference to bonfire night, since I grew up in the UK (though I've been a US resident for many years now).
If someone wants to claim #3, we can narrow this down nicely.
I'll switch to HABS.

I need one more prompt still...

Going to the farm. Voting Talan.

Lists updated. (3 way tie in the vote for Boss.)
Absy decided to stay inside her cell and count the padded squares on the wall.
Oh and thanks for the list, Poe.
Oh, and I just did the randomizer for the candies given away and one person did get a clue. However, no clue will be given out if this person gets kidnapped before next round ......
