Who's The Boss
Game #3167: Trick or Treat?
This private game is moderated by LogicalRoger. Please read the rules and contact the moderator with any questions or concerns about this game.
This game finished in 8 rounds.
Two more have disappeared leaving behind their bags. A tragedy, but not without a glimmer of hope. I can see the bleak rays of sunlight as the dawn begins to approach (no pun intended). We have a few more chances to finally rumble Jack, but we should act fast.
One of those bits of candy had a clue hidden inside of it and has been given to the person that found it. For now, you can no longer visit the Greendale Apartments as they have chucked out all of their candy due to the one piece being tampered with. They may get some more later but for now you still have three more potential clues.
Here is the sixth prompt: Welcome to Fright Night
And here are the answers for last round's prompt:
Prompt 5: Have you ever carved a face on a pumpkin? What design on pumpkins do you think is best?
Person 1: I've never carved a pumpkin myself, but I've helped a nephew do it once or twice. I like it when people carve pumpkins with a bit of humour.
Person 2: YESYESYESYES I DID LAST YEARS AND IT WAS SOOO AMAZING
I carved a pile of jackolanterns WITH FACES on it aLL BY MYSELF AND IT WAS SOOOOOO GORGEOUS
Person 3: No, I'm not that handy with knives, would probably cut my finger off, but I do think the traditional design is best.
Get back on the case, citizens, but be wary of Jack and Batty. Also, do note that the cheapskates at the Crooked House only have three more pieces of candy so only three people at a maximum can go there. The other two areas are well stocked.
Happy Haunting.

Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?
Here we are folks, and I've got the clearing clue to share:
"Here is the clearing clue you found hidden inside a pack of M&Ms. It said "W.Bell & T.Hooper"
No idea who it refers to, but will do some research and report back.
It's a disease, not a punch line

Firings last round are consistent with Habs being Boss; so I'll keep my vote there. (Of course, they're also consistent with somebody framing Habs, so there is that.)
I'll stick with Crooked House since I've gone there every round thus far.

Going to Crooked House again. Wanna get one of the last gummy worms.
So... W.Bell and T.Hooper. Not sure what that could mean.
I just did a google search for it and it turns out they're in a book called The collected works of Sir Humphrey Davy.
Under Relating to Fats and Oils:
No. 99896 Date: Feb 15 1870 Inventor: W.J.Hooper and T.Hooper Residence: Baltimore, Md.
No. 251088 Dateec 20 1881 Inventor: W.Bell Residence: New York N.Y.
Unsure what to make of this.
Seperate search for W.Bell: he's a politics stand up comedian: Walter Kamau Bell.
T.Hooper: Located in NW Indiana, T.Hooper Photography speaciales in Wedding and Engagement photos.
In a Dr. Seuss book.
I HAVE NO IDEA.
Voting HABS for a clear.
fear my cuteness.

So let's get a good clear. HABS gets my vote.
No idea where to even start with the clue.
And off to the Mansion I go for some trick or treating.

And off to the Mansion I go for some trick or treating.
Well, I didn't get anywhere with the clue. It's not an easy one, but as it would clear someone it's too bad we can't figure it.
I'm guess with two rounds where people who voted for me were fired, I'm clear enough to stay out of the majority.
Voting for talan and going to the FARM.

All you can deem from the firings is who ISN'T the boss.
But as I have said ALL game - go ahead and vote for me, I have no fear of it.
If Talan is not the boss, he is the rat and we are close to the boss.
Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

Sorry for the double post but don't want to edit the above

If they are both mentioned in this book, then it would likely be the place to start.
Of course, they two people (we have no way of knowing their gender) may share a common trait. That would make it almost impossible to solve as there are likely thousands of people with those last names and initials.
I am checking into the book once I get lunches made and R leaves for work.

I'm not coming up with anything that makes any sense, but like Who said, it's not an easy one. I worked with LR when we did 1 v. 100 and I never did understand his clues without a road map. I'm going to go with the Habs majority to try to get another clear, although I still have my suspicions about Poe. I hate to risk being a lemming but don't want to put our only clear in jeopardy.
I think I'll try the Redding Farm again.

We do have four more hours left, but just a friendly reminder that I still need one more prompt.

Just noticed I did not state a definitive vote or say where I wanted to go.
I am voting Talan and will visit the. Mansion.

4 declared votes is enough to clear Habs assuming all employees tell the truth. So much for that theory.
