Engineers are working on a new six-cylinder diesel engine. It will have a 1.2 litre capacity. The average speed of use is 2,000 revolutions per minute. However the engine can only work at temperatures of up to 500 degrees Celsius.

This is true, but now not all gasoline engines use spark plugs.

Good one!! Diesel engines don't need spark plugs. "Autocombustion" takes the place of the spark plugs. Diesel engines use a higher compression ratios than standard gas powered engines. The higher compression ratio forces the diesel gas to combust on its own. Diesel engines are better for low powered torque.
