Trick
Trick brain teasers appear difficult at first, but they have a trick that makes them really easy.Trick
A person was looking for a yo-yo with exactly 3 1/2 feet of string. He had 1 week before a contest and had only enough money to buy 1 yo-yo. He did not open any yo-yo boxes (none were out where he could test them), it gave no measurement on the box, all of the yo-yo's were behind a glass door with a lock and he needed at least 4 days to practice. How did he find an exact measurement of the string?
Answer
He simply asked the clerk to open the box, and then he borrowed a ruler.Hide Answer Show Answer

i decided he just asked the clerk for the measurements...
if the clerk/shop assistant didn't know, then they could measure it for him.

Can't he just cut his own piece of string to length when he get's home?
couldnt he have just looked on the box?
Good one.
