A Weak Brainteaser

| Good teaser. You fooled me. I was looking for an answer in Shakespear or something like that.

| I was looking for words hidden in every word e.g. vermon in Vermont, statue in Statuesque (if you call that "hidden,") dish in swedish, art in Arthur's, and under and stood in Misunderstood. Your teaser is that much more "invinsible" because words cannot be found in Africa and Sensation. Good teaser! |

| Although this was another repeat, it was still hard for most people. But the only and original DOEHEAD conquered it again. A to Mi & Ct. |

| I thought it was so simple, until I read the answer I had guessed that they all had to do with 'states', not just governed entities, but various conditions, and assumed this was a short list. (a country can be considered a state, being still, belonging to someone, etc.) Guess my mental state is a bit weak today! |
