it was easy after you realize it's a trick from the category!!!!
If i can't see it, it's not there ^_^
I'd say none...moons come at night!
ahem, what happens to them in the day? Are they only half moons? Or are you just joking.
Right its just one of those that when you read the answer you just sigh then click "next"
that's so not true, the moon is there in the daytime!!!!!!! Duh! haven't you ever seen it....
When I first read this I was like, "How am I suppose to know that?" But once I saw the answer I was like, "oh duh!"
I misread the question cuz of the title and thought, " the moon isn't blue!"
Ummmm, so what you're sayng is, if I take another vantage point, ignoring my earth-bound existance, one face of the moon is always fully illuminated from some celestial point of view? Not so, Kemo Sabe, for during full or partial eclipses, the full moon's light is obscured, making it unseeable anywhere!
i laughed out loud,i was trying to calculate how many blue moons would be visible this year.great teaser!
That was pretty lame dude! Try harder next time.

That was good if you think about it....I was like "Well a Full Moon appears once every month....so the answer must be 12........wait..whats so tricky about that? Oh ya! There is a full moon EVERYDAY it just rises at 60 Pm (about) so we can't see it....Hahah!"

good one. made me feel stupid after trying to figure out the lunar cycle.
if a tree falls in the wood does it make a sound? only during a full moon

Sorry man, a full moon by definition is The moon when it is visible as a fully illuminated disk. Since no other directions were given, all things are relative, therefore, the answer I'm sticking with is 12, whether I'm wrong or right.
No offense, but this one was kind of cheap. I was disappointed with the answer.
Okay, I was going to ask why the moon was out during the day, but I've got it now...sneaky one aren't you?
(The moon there even during the day, the light from the sun just covers it up, right?)

Sorry, the button froze.
Short and sweet
I agree that the moon is always there (although it can't be seen during sun's rein) but, I also agree - what about during an eclipse as stated above?
Suprised it got past the editors... I was thinking that the moon doesn't show in the day (as we know of a 'full moon')
BONUS---does anyone know what a blue moon is???
ANS--it's when there are two 'full moons' in one month, the second is called a blue moon.

yeah i said none
good. but easy.
Nice
None, the moon comes out at night was my first guess!
To me, any question with more than one right answer but only one 'right' answer is stupid. I don't mean when there's an answer that you haven't forseen. I mean like this one, where the term 'full moon' is taken to mean literally, the whole moon, as opposed to its dictionary definition of a time at which the entire side of the moon facing earth is visible. Interpreting something literally doesn't make a question a trick, unless there is an inconsistency with the non-literal interpretation that forces you to use the literal interpretation. Otherwise it's just frustrating.
I thought 'moons come up at night, not at day, anyway'. Ah well.
haha, nice
I said zero...
cuz you can't see the moon during the day, and the question said "day".
I felt smartish there for a minute...

Because this one is in the trick category I got it immediately.
(And to the person who mentioned eclipses, the moon would not be eclipse by the edarth for a whole earth or lunar day. (since we are no longer confining ourselves to the earth the whole concept of "day" and "year" gets a bit fuzzy...)
Non "Trick" answer:
Period of moon is 27.32 days.
There are maximum 266 day in an (earth) year.
266/27.32 is 13.39 so there can be at most 13 full moons in a year.

Although aball911's "zero" answer is just as good I reckon. You can still feel smart!
