Presidential Quotes
In Cryptography teasers, a phrase or expressions has been encoded in some way (frequently by replacing letters with other letters). You need to figure out the encoding method and then decode the message to find the answer.
The following cryptograms are quotes from past U.S. Presidents. Each letter stands for another, and no letter can stand for two (ex. 'A' cannot stand for 'B' and 'C')

| Good job and fun!! I did find it easy but very very enjoyable. Without the quote from Ronald Reagan, it would have taken much longer to solve!! Great Job!!!!!
The quote from Abraham Lincoln is basically about being honest and forthright. His point was that many politicians will conveniently rename something to soften the blow or to slide something by the voters . For example: when a new tax is added that people must pay, call it anything that you want but it is still a tax! They might rename it a surcharge, a fund fee, a voluntary reimbursement contribution, or a scholarship funding contribution. If you have to pay, it is still a tax. |

| I just got lucky. My first guess for the first president is George Washington. Once the letters in his name got equivalents, everything else just fell into place. |

| It took a while for me to find the pattern, but once I did the puzzles became easy. I agree with mysterious in that the #3 quote is about telling the truth. I enjoyed this puzzle! |
